A: Hi! The LLM is hosted in USA-based datacenters by the same team that makes GitDoc. We also use Google Gemini. The inference requests are not used for training or shared because compliance alignment with SOC2 (working towards it).

Q: Large Video Ingestion

Can your tool ingest large media files and turn them into contextual documentation?

We have a webinar, meeting, or large explainer videos, can it convert these to contextual generated documents?

Q: LLM and Data Location?

As much as I absolutely love this idea and looking into it seems great, I need to ask, what LLM is on the backend and where is it located?

A: We use a combination of two LLMs.

1. Sylas LLM: made by and hosted in the USA by ThreatWinds, an AI cybersecurity company based of Delaweare.

2. We also use Google Gemini with US-based LLM inference.

A: Not at the moment — GitDoc currently connects only to GitHub. Appreciate you asking, it's useful signal for what to build next.
