Can we have "speed networking" sessions as part of networking events? I want a time slot where the system randomly pairs two people in private rooms to meet for five minutes, then rotates them to meet new people over a set period.
A: Hey, while this feature is still not available, I attended a few networking sessions where the dynamics were different and people had to explore different rooms to meet new people. I actually enjoyed more than the traditional way, as I was always curious to find out what was coming next. You can also upvote here...
A: Hey I think GoBrunch allows around 80% of their functionalities. Multi-player games are a little bit more tricky but I have seen some people achieving that as well. Join the community events to see how people are doing it. Cheers.
A: Hey ibestriker. The transaction fee is only applied when you use GoBrunch to collect payments from your community. For example, selling memberships, workshops, or event tickets. Cheers.
A: Absolutely. The transactional fee only applies when you use GoBrunch to collect payments from your members, such as subscriptions, workshops, or paid events. It’s not charged every time you use GoBrunch in general. Hope that helps.
I am interested in a Tier 2 license and was just about to type in the same question. I couldn't find anything when I searched the FAQ for 'Transactional Fees'. Can you please explain in detail what the fee is/for and when it is applicable? Thank you!
This is a brand-new feature we’ve just introduced last week. The transactional fee (4% on tier 1, 2% on Tier 2 and 1% on Tier 3) only applies when you choose to use GoBrunch to collect payments, for example, if you’re charging for memberships, workshops, or events. It’s not something that’s charged every time you use GoBrunch, only when a payment is processed through the platform.
I am an account professor and I plan on using this to meet with my students. They are not charged for these meetings so I assume I would never have to pay a transaction fee for these types of events.
Richard, thank you for the amazingly fast response. I'll be signing up today. I'm a retired 'geek' and I volunteer in helping other senior citizens with their online tech support needs of all types. No charge whatsoever to them. I'll be using GoBrunch to assist. I sincerely appreciate you!
Q: Embedding Games
I want to embed a game created with Playzo (a product also featured in AppSumo) into a room where the room participants can play together at the same time. Is that possible or would I need to create a widget with Fouita to enable that functionality? As I understand it, for videos and audio each participant would start and stop the embedded audio or video on their own and I was wondering if that would also be the case if I embedded a game.
A: Hey, embedding games is possible but playing together inside the same embedded game isn’t supported. The reason is that iFrames don’t share state between users. Each person is essentially opening their own private version of the game within their browser.

Q: Features Like WithConfetti.com?
Hi Richard,
I was wondering if you ever considered offer features or some sort of marketplace with functions similar to:
https://www.withconfetti.com
I think they would enhance GoBrunch nicely!
Thanks!

That’s exactly right. Since your students are not being charged for the meetings, there’s no transaction fee at all.
