hi we bought tier 4 on Dec. 11, 2023 from appsumo.
and you has issue with appsumo on 6th dec 2024. How come our account impacted ? please advice, has to be fair.

Like many other Sumo-lings, I logged in today to find my account downgraded to a free trial due to an AppSumo-GoZen payment dispute. While I understand business conflicts happen, paying customers shouldn't suffer the consequences.

AppSumo should have proactively emailed all affected users and automatically processed refunds instead of requiring manual requests before May 30th. Discovering my purchased product is unusable only after logging in is unacceptable.

I trusted AppSumo as a reliable platform, but this experience—being caught in the middle with no proactive communication—has seriously damaged that trust. Requesting my refund now.
Not recommended until AppSumo improves how they handle such situations and protect customer interests.

I purchased GoZen Content.Ai as a Lifetime Deal through AppSumo in October 2024 and activated it successfully.
For a long time, I didn’t need to use it — and when I finally returned to start a new project, I found my account downgraded to a free plan.

There were no notifications or warnings from either GoZen or AppSumo.
Only later did I learn that GoZen had unilaterally cut off AppSumo users, claiming “non-payment” while AppSumo confirmed that all obligations had been met and that GoZen itself had violated the partnership terms.

This is extremely disappointing. I made a purchase in good faith, expecting lifetime access as promised.
Now I’ve lost the product I paid for, without any fault on my part and without prior communication.

I’ve reached out to AppSumo support and hope they will resolve the issue or issue credits, but this situation seriously undermines trust in both the product and its creators.

**Lesson learned:** check your LTDs periodically — even trusted tools can disappear overnight.

So many great AI content creation products being created these days. I would completely avoid Gozen Content AI.

I'm writing this long after it's been sold out - to warn others, because AppSumo has amazing Google search reach. Purchased in 2023, as a frequent user, and Gozen reset me to a free user. After 12 months of back-and-forth with tech support, and sending screenshots of invoices, account settings, etc, a NEW rep (India - Not NJ) called. Bottom line 0 They are having issues with/ AppSumo (so they claim) and reduced members to the free plan - when asked what they offer that I can't get elsewhere... nothing. They sounded desperate to raise $$$. Best bet - AVOID!
