Do you have any plans to offer API access as an option? I’m working on a personal project where the idea is to use text-to-speech as the output for a response. That’s why I’m wondering if you plan to include API access within the AppSumo plans, or if the service will only work on web pages?

A: Hello,
API access is planned, but not in the immediate future.
When it becomes available, we will also provide it to AppSumo users, possibly with different terms depending on usage.
For now, the product is focused on website integration and upcoming standalone TTS generator features.
Really like this product and the demo. Enjoyed reading the reason for its creation. I am a person with speech challenges, and I really appreciate what you are doing here.
Q: Is there a method or a solution to manipulate or work with how it "pronounces" certain words? Can specific words be corrected?

A: Hello,
Yes, we support this with a feature called Aliases.
You can define custom pronunciation rules, for example: "AI" → "artificial intelligence"
This lets you control how specific words or abbreviations are spoken.
It works like a mapping between the original text and how it should be read in audio.
If I build an audio series using your platform, is your player compatible with Apple Carplay / Android Auto?
This may help me eliminate podcasts platforms/players, as several of the podcast players are already compatible with Apple Auto / Android Auto.
And if the audio files are stored in your cloud, can you match the playback quality/delivery of the podcast platforms, such as Transistor or Castos?
Thanks in advance.

A: Hello,
At the moment, the GSpeech player is a web-based audio player and is not directly integrated with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. These systems typically require native app support or podcast platform integration.
However, you can still use GSpeech to generate high-quality audio content and distribute it in different ways.
Regarding playback quality and delivery - all audio files are...
Q: How do I change the dates on the Audio Plays Chart?
I am only able to see the analytics from March 1st to March 17th. I've tried clicking on the 1m, 3m, 6m YTD, 1y, and All tabs, but nothing changes even if I do a refresh. I tried changing the dates in the From: To: and nothing changes. I need to be able to gauge the impact GSpeech is having on my endeavor. I clicked on the Contact Us option a few days ago but never heard back. I'm hopeful you'll check and respond to inquiries here on Appumo.

A: Hello,
By default, the chart loads all available data. You can use the navigation buttons to switch between different time periods.
Sorry if I missed your previous message. Could you please resend it to [email protected] and include your account email? I will check your data and resolve the issue for you as soon as possible.
Simon, I sent an email yesterday titled "Appsumo question about dates for analytics." I attached a 1-minute video to help convey the challenge I am facing. Thanks for your time. I look forward to your reply. - Mike
Q: Questions about PDF/document support in GSpeech and Tier 2 limits
Hi 🤗 I’m interested in License Tier. Could you please clarify:
What is the maximum number of characters/words you support per text-to-speech conversion in the Direct TTS Generator?
Roughly how many characters does 1 AI credit correspond to?
Do you plan to support uploading PDF or other document files directly (instead of pasting text)?
Thank you 🤗
