Do you think this tool could act as a 'voice over' for some content being created for courses? Maybe edited/fixed up in a video editing program? The content being visually displayed in slides bit the voice/vocals coming from your tool? Just curious to this use case possibility.
Yes — absolutely. You can use GSpeech as a voice-over tool for course content and slide-based videos. Just generate the audio from your text and use it in your video editor with your visuals.
We’re releasing direct TTS audio generation in the coming days. Until now we were mainly focused on websites, and this feature is being added now.
Q: ‘real-time translation’ and ‘custom voice prompts’
Hello Simon, I am considering purchasing Tier 2, which excludes two features. I have two questions about this: 1. What does ‘real-time translation’ mean? Does it mean that translation into another language takes longer, or is not possible at all? Does it also mean that speech generation itself does not happen in real time? 2. Does the exclusion of ‘custom voice prompts’ also mean that I cannot...

A: Hello,
1. Real-time translation is the globe icon in the player and allows visitors to translate and generate audio in other languages using the GSpeech translation engine. Your website may not have many languages itself, but you can enable additional languages in GSpeech. Also note that multilingual site mode is included in all tiers — if your site already has translated pages, GSpeech shows...

A: Hello,
Non-AI credits are used for standard machine-based TTS voices. AI credits are used for premium AI voices with more natural quality and style control.
If AI voices are selected, audio is generated using AI credits when available. The same audio can be regenerated later once new AI credits become available.
Translation itself does not consume credits separately — it’s part of the audio...

Q: PREMIUM FEATURES
Are any premium TTS models excluded from tier 5?
Broadly speaking, are any premium features excluded from tier 5?
Do we have API access at tier 5?
Is BYOK feature in the pipeline for tier 5?
Any exciting or pending feature updates in the near term?

Feb 3, 2026A: Hello,
Tier 5 was added for larger clients and includes all currently available premium features and TTS models — none are excluded.
Broadly speaking, all released premium options are included in Tier 5.
API access is not available yet — it is planned for the future, but not in the near term.
BYOK (bring your own key) is also not available and not on the short-term roadmap.

Q: What are custom voice prompts?
Simon_Poghosyan
Feb 2, 2026A: Hello,
Custom Voice Prompts are style instructions for AI voices — they control tone, pace, emotion, and delivery style.
You’re right to ask — the feature is listed, but it’s still rolling out and will appear in the dashboard in the coming days. Sorry for the confusion.
I’ll post an update as soon as it’s live.
Thanks! :)
