I use it for my personal AI assistant. Many AI tools are not returning result from authentic source.
I am a programmer so I want authentic output and concept that I can apply in my project. So I download PDF from Microsoft Docs website and upload it here. It will search from my local resources which purely authentic. Best alternative of OneNote(IKI have all your notes just ask the question and IKI will return answer based on your notes).

1. With this tool we can use web option it will find answer from web
2. Another option is Library. This is SUPER FEATURE of IKI. If you are researcher then you need authentic source(valid website, blogs, video) and get the answer from that source which is included in your library(Collection).

iki.ai looks very promising as a tool, but currently, the Chrome extension, which is essential for this tool, isn’t working. I hope they fix it soon.

As of Nov 5th, 2024 - I do not recommend anyone buy this app. It seems they are constantly facing issues, again and again. Support is poor, and there are lots of "promises" about upcoming features on their roadmap—basically just a typical sales pitch. There's a high risk that this app could go out of business or change their model to upsell and charge for features that should already be included. It’s like buying a new car and being told, "Yes, we know the windows don't open, but we're working on a solution." They keep saying, "It’s on our roadmap"—everything is on their roadmap. It feels like a "here today, gone tomorrow" situation, where they collect money and leave. There are other free AI tools available that offer the same functionality as Iki.ai, so proceed with caution.

I’ve been using iki.ai for a while now, and while the platform had a rocky start, I’m genuinely impressed with the improvements I’ve seen. The developers have shown a real commitment to listening to user feedback (join the Discord folks), which is a refreshing change in the tech landscape.

The team has been actively implementing updates based on our suggestions, making the interface more user-friendly and enhancing overall functionality. It’s clear that they value our input and are dedicated to creating a better experience.

I’m feeling confident about where iki.ai is headed. If they continue on this path, I believe they can become a standout tool in their space. I look forward to seeing how they evolve!

They are currently working on a large update for their Chrome extension as well.

I have been using this app on and off for over a month (does not work consistently). I love the idea of having all my knowledge in one place and easily retrievable. The idea of IKI checks those boxes.

There were some hiccups from the get go, but nothing major. I guess all the new users and updates have made things difficult in the backend. The very simple but useful chrome extension stopped working, and also Youtube transcriptions broke down. The IKI team is active in the Discord, but they expect people to find the hacks (other apps can make YT video transcriptions work without manual authentication) they have posted in Discord. And when people ask questions why the service they have paid for doesn't work, the attitude is less friendly if it has been answered previously. Shame on the user for asking a question already answered, but many paying customers haven't used Discord before and have started using it only because of IKI. (Disclosure: I know my ways around Discord and have received only positive responses.)

Due to the many issues that have risen after the appsumo launch, the many features that were promised (research assistant, team seats etc) on October have been postponed indefinitely(?).

Refunding now, but hopefully someday IKI gets there.
