Q: What does "Monthly creator bookings" entail?
Is this just the privilege of doing the booking or does this mean a pre-paid creator booking?

Edited Aug 17, 2026A: It's the number of bookings you can run each month, not pre-paid creator fees.
Only bookings that actually go ahead count. If a creator declines or it gets cancelled, that booking goes back into your allowance.
Payment only comes into it for paid bookings. There you agree the rate directly with the creator, we hold it in escrow and release it once you approve the content. For gifted, affiliate or other arrangements there's no payment through Jem Social at all, you just settle the agreed terms with the creator yourself.

So I should see the added value of the appsumo deal as the platform fee being covered in that case?

Not quite a platform fee, no. The bigger part is data access.
Keeping creator profiles current means paying for data across a number of sources, and that's a cost we carry every month for as long as you use the platform, which is also why the limits exist.
So what you're getting is the platform plus that data access. Creator fees stay between you and the creator, as they would anywhere
