Q: Why not linking to profiles?
hi there. I like what I see so far but credits go very very fast in you just checking profiles. It is frustrating not being able to check the social media accounts of the creator before revealing their profile and spending 1 credit. I want to spend that credit only when it is useful. Why don't you enable the links to the users social profiles before having to do the full reveal? This way I can check the type of content they publish before spending the credit. It happened few times that I spend the credit to see the type of content is not ideal after checking the profile on SM. Then I lost one credit on that profile for nothing. First 2 hours and I burnt 10 out of 50 monthly credits... not good!
does this make sense?
I can google the user name and search the social profiles but this defeats the purpose of jem.social saving time.

Aug 18, 2026A: Hi, thanks for taking the time to write this up.
That makes complete sense, and it's a fair point. Being able to see someone's content before spending a credit can help a lot.
We're looking into adding a link out to the creator's social profile from the search results, and we'll come back to you as soon as it's sorted.
Thanks again, this is the kind of feedback that genuinely helps to make product better everyday.
This is a must or else credits are wasted inefficiently

You're absolutely right, and we've acted on it. Two things are coming.
First, direct links to a creator's social profile, so you can check their content before spending anything.
Second, a new basic profile view for just a fraction of a credit, showing as much as we can about a creator up front.

On the cost side: that fraction isn't arbitrary. This data is kept genuinely current and we pay several sources to make that possible, which is what the credit covers. A full credit should only go on someone you've already decided you want.
Both are close to shipping and we'll update here as we go. Feedback like this genuinely shapes what we build, so thank you.
