So so
It's good, but still far behind the competitors out there and lacks transparency.

Critical Transparency Issues but Fixable Path Forward If Jogg Ai is Willing to Make Things Right
I originally gave Jogg AI five stars because it showed potential and only charged credits for the initial avatar photo creation and the model names and feature sets were also easy to follow. My opinion changed drastically with the rollout of Avatar X. Like many users, I was confused, thinking Avatar X was just a rebrand or upgrade of Motion 3.0 because both featured expressive avatars. Motion 3.0 was eventually renamed Avatar 1.0, the in-house, more affordable option, while Avatar X turned out to be a new, more advanced solution using both in-house and third-party technology, so it could not be offered as a free upgrade.
The biggest problem is that none of this was made clear at the time. The real distinction between the models, their costs, and why Avatar X needed to be paid for separately was only explained after strong negative feedback from the community and in an email sent today. If that detail had been available when the AppSumo deal was running, I and many others would have made very different decisions about which tier to buy.
Because of this frustration and lack of transparency, I dropped my rating all the way down to one star. The recent email finally helped clarify things, which is a positive step, so I have now moved my review up to three stars. But to earn all five stars again, Jogg AI needs to
Proactively communicate all important model and plan changes before they go live
Revisit rate limiting so paying customers can use all their credits fairly
Focus on sustainable fair upgrades, especially for in-house models
Bring the AppSumo deal back, even briefly, this time with full transparency so early users can choose the right tier with confidence
Positive examples set by others Companies like SellerPic and Artistly do a great job clearly explaining what is included in each plan, what is handled in-house versus third-party, what upgrades and new features will cost, and any limitations before the customer pays. Their regular honest communication builds trust and long-term loyalty and users almost never feel blindsided or misled.
Jogg AI can absolutely win back my five stars if these gaps are closed. Clear communication, honest updates, and fair upgrade opportunities for loyal users are the path forward.

I rarely give out 5-star ratings
I rarely give out 5-star ratings, but Jogg AI truly deserves it. From the moment I purchased it, I could already see its huge potential and the many opportunities it offers for different use cases. It’s an outstanding product that delivers real value.
However, one thing I’ve noticed is that when the company upgrades and introduces new features, some users expect everything to be free. But honestly, how can a company continue developing and improving a product without sustainable revenue? If we truly want innovation and growth, we should also understand that advanced features may come with additional costs.
For me, I don’t see this as a downside—it’s a natural step for any software that aims to keep evolving. Jogg AI is already great as it is, and the upgrades only make it better. I’d even say I’d love to see higher-tier plans beyond the current ones, because this is a product worth investing in.
In short, Jogg AI is not just another tool; it’s an evolving platform with real long-term value. If you’re serious about leveraging AI, this is absolutely worth it.

I feel scammed
I feel scammed. I had purchased Plan 3 and even left a five-star review for this app, until they decided to kick AppSumo users to the curb. What was once unlimited video creation now requires paying credits for each video, breaking the original agreement. As if that wasn’t enough, they also added weekly usage limits and only allow one video to be processed at a time. Considering that creating a single video takes a long time and sometimes even freezes, this means you can only make your next video after many minutes, sometimes half an hour or even hours later.
Since they introduced Avatar X, everything requires payment: creating avatars, creating videos (even though the deal was unlimited). Congratulations on breaking your promises and ripping people off. I even promoted this company, but now they don’t deserve to grow—if you betray the early supporters who believed in you by changing the rules, it shows you have no integrity. Congratulations on scamming us, but in life, everything comes back around.

Once my favorite AppSumo deal—now only frustration
I was genuinely excited at first. The rapid stream of new features made me think this might be the best AppSumo purchase I’d ever made. That early excitement helped me overlook issues that were there from day one: weak lip-sync and a lot of API bugs (API a major reason I bought Tier 4). I stayed patient and, to their credit, a few bugs did get fixed over time.
But the recent changes have flipped the value proposition. The team introduced user limits after the fact, including weekly caps that make it easy to end the month with unused credits you simply lose if you didn’t happen to use the tool every single week. More recently, they’ve added a “one render at a time” restriction. Because each render can take a long time, this single-file queue wastes a huge amount of time.
The cumulative effect is that the product now feels throttled in ways that punish AppSumo customers. I can’t know the intent, but as a user it feels like friction designed to discourage using the credits I paid for. It worked on me: I’ve stopped trying to make this work and switched to a market-leading competitor on a monthly plan just to protect my time.
Bottom line: promising feature set undermined by retroactive limits. If the company wants to win back trust, they should remove the weekly caps and restore reasonable concurrency for renders.
PS: As of a few days ago, a new avatar type was introduced. While I fully accept using credits for avatar creation, the company has now started charging credits per minute of video generation as well—something that was never advertised or part of the original deal.
