No one asked for BYOK — STOP shifting the narrative!

Honestly, this feels misleading. Let’s be clear: no LTD user ever asked for BYOK specifically for Veo 3. The whole point of buying an LTD is to avoid ongoing costs, not to be forced into managing our own API keys and paying extra. Claiming that “lots of users suggest BYOK” is simply not true — this is clearly an internal decision to cut costs, not something requested by the community.

What makes it worse is that Google has already reduced the cost of Veo 3 API recently, which means the argument of “too expensive to sustain” no longer holds as strongly. Logically, this should make it easier — not harder — to include Veo 3 for LTD users.

We supported JoggAI early because we trusted the promise of a complete solution under LTD. Excluding Veo 3 while spinning it as “listening to customer feedback” breaks that trust. It feels like moving the goalposts after the game has started.

LTD buyers invested early with trust. Please respect that.

Bait and Switch. Jogg ai has 2.8 stars on trust pilot for deceiving appsumo customers. numerous complaints by many in community.

I am very disappointed by my experience with Jogg AI on AppSumo. When I purchased the lifetime deal, it was clearly stated and discussed that credits would be valid for using premium models like VEO. After the deal ended, Jogg AI changed the rules and told customers they could no longer use their credits for these models, requiring a bring your own key option instead. This major restriction was not disclosed before the end of the deal and goes against what was promised in responses to customer questions. It defeats the point of a lifetime credit system that now cannot be used towards certain models, and this was not disclosed until after the deal ended when people could not refund. This is a bait and switch and they lied about it.

Even worse, in the days after the deal ended, prior comments and assurances were removed, and several users who raised their concerns in the forums and on Discord were deleted or silenced. This happened even though the discussion stayed respectful. Changing key terms after purchase and removing honest feedback is not acceptable and destroys trust with the community.

If you are looking at this product, be careful. My experience shows the company does not honor their original deal terms or communicate changes honestly. AppSumo needs to take this feedback seriously to protect buyers.

For all other AppSumo users, post your feedback on Trustpilot at https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.jogg.ai. Also, inform AppSumo and reach out to consumer protection services to send Jogg AI a message that bait and switch behavior will not be tolerated in the LTD community. It is about doing what is right. If Jogg AI wants to make this right, they need to allow AppSumo customers to use their credits for what they actually bought a credit system for. If Jogg AI fixes the situation I will consider changing this review. Until then, this review will stand and I am seeking consumer protection and legal action against Jogg AI for breach of contract and bait and switch advertising.

They also lie and say users asked for bring your own key when that is completely false. Why would a user ask for bring your own key when it would be more expensive in API costs than just paying for a VEO plan. Individual API costs are higher than a subscription plan.

They also lie and say these are motion credits, when it was advertised as AI credits. They also lie and say they did not remove anyone from Discord when over twenty members were deleted for speaking up about this. They are silencing people and trying to cover up the truth.

The AppSumo ad said the credits for non video can be used for avatar photo, avatar motion, and other non video upcoming features. It is in the ad and I have a screenshot. What you are not about to do is lie to my face or to other AppSumo users. You will be held accountable and I will be seeking consumer protection services.

They also still let monthly subscribers use credits with VEO but not lifetime deal customers. They have alienated their early supporters and trashed their reputation. They are not to be trusted.

I do not want to hear any more lies because other honest companies like Qolaba who were on AppSumo did the right thing. Qolaba told customers about rising costs during the return window. Jogg AI waited until the refund window was closed and then switched it up. Qolaba just increased the credit cost and still let customers use their credits as promised. Jogg AI could have done the same but instead they selectively blocked models from LTD customers because they want to reserve VEO use for monthly subscribers only. Why? Because they are not trustworthy. This is all about them being cheap and dishonest.

Hi, we’re sorry it feels like the goalposts have been moved. Let me clarify exactly what was included in the original AppSumo deal and how things stand today.

What the deal covered
● Unlimited lip-sync videos with the “classic” avatar pipeline (now called AvatarLite).
● A fixed allotment of Non-Video Credits (now called Motion Credits), designed for premium animation features.

Why Veo 3 is...

I rarely give out 5-star ratings

I rarely give out 5-star ratings, but Jogg AI truly deserves it. From the moment I purchased it, I could already see its huge potential and the many opportunities it offers for different use cases. It’s an outstanding product that delivers real value.

However, one thing I’ve noticed is that when the company upgrades and introduces new features, some users expect everything to be free. But honestly, how can a company continue developing and improving a product without sustainable revenue? If we truly want innovation and growth, we should also understand that advanced features may come with additional costs.

For me, I don’t see this as a downside—it’s a natural step for any software that aims to keep evolving. Jogg AI is already great as it is, and the upgrades only make it better. I’d even say I’d love to see higher-tier plans beyond the current ones, because this is a product worth investing in.

In short, Jogg AI is not just another tool; it’s an evolving platform with real long-term value. If you’re serious about leveraging AI, this is absolutely worth it.

I feel scammed

I feel scammed. I had purchased Plan 3 and even left a five-star review for this app, until they decided to kick AppSumo users to the curb. What was once unlimited video creation now requires paying credits for each video, breaking the original agreement. As if that wasn’t enough, they also added weekly usage limits and only allow one video to be processed at a time. Considering that creating a single video takes a long time and sometimes even freezes, this means you can only make your next video after many minutes, sometimes half an hour or even hours later.

Since they introduced Avatar X, everything requires payment: creating avatars, creating videos (even though the deal was unlimited). Congratulations on breaking your promises and ripping people off. I even promoted this company, but now they don’t deserve to grow—if you betray the early supporters who believed in you by changing the rules, it shows you have no integrity. Congratulations on scamming us, but in life, everything comes back around.

Thank you for your feedback. First and foremost, we want to apologize. We’ve done a poor job communicating recent updates, and that has understandably caused frustration.

Unlimited videos — still true
AvatarLite lip-sync videos remain unlimited, with no credits required and no weekly cap — exactly as advertised on the AppSumo page.

Once my favorite AppSumo deal—now only frustration

I was genuinely excited at first. The rapid stream of new features made me think this might be the best AppSumo purchase I’d ever made. That early excitement helped me overlook issues that were there from day one: weak lip-sync and a lot of API bugs (API a major reason I bought Tier 4). I stayed patient and, to their credit, a few bugs did get fixed over time.

But the recent changes have flipped the value proposition. The team introduced user limits after the fact, including weekly caps that make it easy to end the month with unused credits you simply lose if you didn’t happen to use the tool every single week. More recently, they’ve added a “one render at a time” restriction. Because each render can take a long time, this single-file queue wastes a huge amount of time.

The cumulative effect is that the product now feels throttled in ways that punish AppSumo customers. I can’t know the intent, but as a user it feels like friction designed to discourage using the credits I paid for. It worked on me: I’ve stopped trying to make this work and switched to a market-leading competitor on a monthly plan just to protect my time.

Bottom line: promising feature set undermined by retroactive limits. If the company wants to win back trust, they should remove the weekly caps and restore reasonable concurrency for renders.

PS: As of a few days ago, a new avatar type was introduced. While I fully accept using credits for avatar creation, the company has now started charging credits per minute of video generation as well—something that was never advertised or part of the original deal.

Thank you for the thoughtful summary. Here’s a clear recap of how the current mechanics align with the original Lifetime Deal and why the allowances you’re seeing exist.

Two feature categories
● AvatarLite lip-sync videos remain unlimited for all LTD users — no weekly cap, no per-minute charge, exactly as listed on the AppSumo page.
● Motion-powered features (AvatarX, VFX, Text-to-Video, etc.)...
