A: At the moment, we don’t offer a built-in QR code expiration feature.
However, since all JoyQR codes are dynamic by default, you can always manually update the target URL at any time — for example, redirecting it to an “expired” page or a different location once you’re ready.
Q: Will this include all future Pro account features?
Curious if this prepaid plan will include and be mapped to the Pro plan? There are some features that I don't see that probably will be added to the pro plan down the road, just want to make sure that if I prepay for an Appsumo account that it's mapped to future Pro plan features.

I have been trying to customize the link for a Bio Page for the last few hours only to find out that once you create one (in this case I created one for testing called FirstName) you can't change the /PageName, but rather need to create a whole new page with the correct name you want to add at the end to /PageName why is this? Why not make it easier to just edit the page name while editing the Bio Page? Took me 3 hours to get the landing page just the way I wanted it for a client, only to realize that it had MY name in it and I couldn't change it.
Also... I don't see any limits as it refers to Pages, but from Adding a new page I can see that my old page became inactive... does that mean that 1 code = only 1 active Bio page?
As in... if I'm an Agency and want to create Pages for my clients, I need to buy 1 code per client?
Thanks for your thoughtful message — great questions.
You’re right, currently the Bio Page URL (the /PageName) can’t be changed after creation. Originally, we restricted this to avoid confusion from frequent renaming, but based on user feedback like yours, we realize that this limitation causes more friction than we intended. We’re now considering adding the ability to rename the page...
Q: Traffic behavior when clicking generated links in Instagram bio
If I have a generated link through your platform where I have set up a bio, similar to Linktree: Does the traffic stay within the Instagram browser when I click a button there, or does it open an external browser, for example Safari on an iPhone?
A: Hi — when you add a JoyQR bio link to your Instagram profile, it usually opens in Instagram’s built-in browser, not Safari or Chrome.
That’s totally normal and something Instagram controls. If someone wants to open it in their full browser, they can tap the three dots and choose “Open in browser.”
That is not entirely correct; there are several providers that offer this feature, and I am already actively using them. I hope it is not prohibited now, but for example, https://stealthcreator.com/ can do it. I also really like their range of functions when it comes to the QR code. I think I will simply test their tool; maybe it will be a motivation for them to improve their tool.
Q: Scan limit
Can I set on how mnay times the code can be scanned? This is very important. Once expire it should shw the code has expired or redirect to URL. Thanks

Sep 15, 2025A: Yes, the AppSumo lifetime deal is fully mapped to the JoyQR Pro plan — meaning all future Pro features will be available to you as they roll out.
You’ll continue to benefit from new updates and improvements without needing to upgrade or pay anything extra.

We can't override this behaviour :(
