Of course you need to limit what you provide for each tier, but I just don't understand why you wouldn't you sell a higher per-device limit? Nobody dictates on 10 different devices so I don't even get the point of the higher tiers. I am willing to pay more if I want to use more of your services, but if I pay you 10x as much, I expect to receive 10x as much value, and having to install on multiple devices and juggling accounts if I want to record more is not more value... it's paying for a nightmare.
The App Store version (subscription) version of your app doesn't seem to have the 2 hour limitation, is that correct?
In a way, this is self-defeating. If your product is great, I would want to use it all the time. The better the app, the more frustrating it is that at one arbitrary point when I reached 2 hours of total recording, you will stop me from using it until a future calendar date. That makes no sense at all. Why wouldn't you would want to provide more service that is actually useful to customers who are willing to pay you more, instead of frustrating them? I hope you will reconsider that because your current offer is a hard pass on what otherwise seems like a great app.

From our experience, 2 hours per month is considered a very generous limit. Typically, our users utilize Letterly for messaging, note-taking, journaling, and social media posts, so such a limit shouldn't be an issue. Can you tell us, what would you like to use Letterly for, that makes you feel your limit should be higher? It would be very helpful for us.

Regarding the App Store, similar limitations apply, though as of now, no one has encountered them.
As for our different tiers, it's mainly designed for larger groups – like your entire office team or family. Therefore, we've decided that if you want to take Letterly for 20 people, it will be cheaper per person.

I use a dictation+transcription app for work. I dictate probably an average of 15-20 minutes per day. That's not a lot. I would burn through your 2 hour limit in 6-8 days. And then what?
You know what! We've received so much feedback that we've decided to remove this limitation! :)
