Q: Hey guys,
Awesome piece of software you got there!
2 questions please before I make the decision to job onboard:
1. Are the following bundles / packages and all items inside included in the appsumo ltd? “create a scene series”, “the template shop”, “element shop”, “motion graphics shop”, “personalized wall art”, “personalize it shop”? If not all of them included, could you please specify which ones are?
2. Can I create NFT graphics and sell them commercially?

So, this is a tricky question: "what's NOT included"
Well, my short answer is that we are not Canva. And we don't try to be. BUT, you can use the graphics you create WITH Canva.
I pride myself on coming up with very different and unique templates. NOT the same-ol same-ol that Canva, Crello, Picmonkey et all create. They all look like their from the same mold.
So, what's not included? The same kind of boring templates you'll see on the Canva and Canva clone sites.

A few other things that are not (yet) included: You can't remove a background completely from a JPG image. but we're working on that.

Hi Marc, thank you for your reply and for fixing my registration too :) What I mean by the question "what is NOT included" was in reference to your products and templates. But now that I'm in, I can see the light :)
From my first observations, I would love to be able to have TWO videos inside ONE design. That would help a lot with not having to export to another NLE, etc.. A second observation is that the recording (aka exporting) maxes out at 30 seconds. Considering that this is using the machine's cache to do, why not enable longer video exports?
Case in point: I created a motion design that incorporates one of your mockups. Inside the mockup I will play another video. However, my second video is a 2min promo so it forces me to loop your first motion design inside my NLE... Hence my 2 suggestions (2 videos inside 1 design, plus longer "recordings"/exports).

Anyway, I am trying to gain access (as I see quite a few people have mentioned they've had problems after redeeming -- not being able to gain instant access), so I hope you all fix that so people can gain access to your fantastic software right away without having to wait for you all to manually set it (since I know you're a solid team of two -- who knows, you may like to go camping on the weekend [smile]). It did autogenerate a username and PW to my email, but neither worked (I even tried saying I forgot my PW, but it did not recognize my registered email address). I submitted a ticket earlier but was hoping to gain access to create a few YT thumbnails sometime today. In any event, keep up the incredible work and the longevity -- you guys are surely doing something right!:)

Hmmm, no, the Graphics Creator won't create animated videos like my explainer videos. It creates things like ebook covers, logos, character mascots and Facebook ads. but not full animated videos.

Q: I had the 2001ish version of this program and LOVED IT!
I used it for years and years and was in my top 3 goto quick design programs. I recall going through multiple versions and adding "template packs" that added to the design options. All very cool and versatile. I'm thrilled to see you are still developing this program!
Question, are you still offering additional "packs" for specific niches? Is this program now accessed online versus the downloadable version of yesteryear? Great to see you on AppSumo!
Yes, we are always adding new packages. In fact, we've just added our "Bobbleheads" and "American presidents" template sets to the online version (https://www.laughingbirdsoftware.com)
I'm not sure how long you all have been around, but I just did a search of my email and I was recommending Laughingbird Software to others back in 2008. That's not a typo. Two Zero Zero Eight. That means I had to have been using it for some time, because I don't recommend products lightly, and the folks I was recommending the software to were a two-person team of graphic designers who were just setting up shop.
"Back in the day," I purchased the downloadable versions of Flash Ad Creator, Logo Design Studio and the Graphics Creator. I'm sure if I search my computer, I can find all three products. Haha.
For anyone thinking of taking advantage of this AppSumo deal, I can say without reservation that Laughingbird Software makes quality products. That is how I ended up purchasing three separate applications from them.
It's really good to see they're still in business, and I believe that has to do with the quality products they've been producing all these years.

Every template set we create we add to the online software (no extra charges... ) Sometimes we create new products that are not included with the online version.
As for the offline (downloadable version for Macs and Windows), we do offer the software for free - but each template set runs about $27... but, yes. you can keep the templates forever with no subscription or recurring fees.
