Hello! I am a bit of technician but not quite for writing HTML line by line. I'm trying a little bit of MarkupGo before buying and it seems Canva or Mobirise tools for drag-and-drop editor doesn't produce good html code for use in MarkupGo. What would you suggest to use for easier creation of HTML code? I read in one of your blog you use Preline and Tailwind but they seems not so easy to use. Is there any other tool for easier editing HTML you would suggest?

Can MarkUpGo API be used with existing (non-generated) images in workflows to change image file type, compress and optimize for web performance? I see you have the ability to change image size, quality and compression but it is not clear to me if those features can be used with existing, non-generated images. If yes would tier 1 be sufficient if I do not need generated image editing?

Thanks for your purchase and great question!
To be upfront with you — our Image Transformation API (resize, compress, change quality/format, etc.) only works on images that have been generated through MarkupGo.
So to answer your specific questions:
Can you use MarkupGo to compress/convert existing images? — Not directly. The compression, quality, and format conversion...
Can MarkUpGo generate vector PDF images and editable fonts (not curves)?

Yes, MarkupGo generates true vector PDFs with editable, embedded fonts — text is not converted to curves/outlines.
We verified this with a generated invoice: fonts are embedded as TrueType (NotoSans), fully selectable and editable in tools llike Adobe Illustrator or Acrobat.

Does your API currently support proxies? Additionally, is there a way to reference pre-configured SOCKS5 proxy settings via an ID (e.g., useproxyid=a1b2c3) instead of passing the full credential string in the URL?

To answer your questions:
Proxy support — Unfortunately, our API does not currently support proxies. All rendering requests are made directly from our servers without the option to route them through a proxy. Pre-configured proxy by ID — Since we don't have proxy support at this time, a useproxyid parameter or similar reference system isn't available either.
1. Can I take retina display screenshots of a URL?
2. Can I set an aspect ratio + image width x height, instead of full page?
3. Can I use the API to capture the screenshot of an URL -> and then save it to my no-code database like Notion/Airtable or the recent Appsumo listed Teable?
