Hey, I purchased your product and created an account. Shortly after, I received my account password by email. That’s a poor security practice, and I couldn’t find any visible option to change the password, which is a serious concern in my view.
Additionally, it would be much better if users could activate and transfer licenses between devices themselves instead of having to contact support. For example, if I get a new phone, I should be able to switch the license from my old device easily.
Thanks.

A: Thanks for raising this - we appreciate the feedback and take security seriously.
Regarding passwords: the initial email you received is part of the account onboarding process, but you can reset and change your password directly from the application at any time. We’re also in the process of adding password management via the web dashboard, which will be available soon.
HI there, where can I change the password via web app (desktop)? I'm currently here: eu7.omnistream.live/#/account and the fields are not editable (and there is no password field). Thank you!

A: Graphics overlays and lower thirds are not supported on iOS yet. This feature is on our roadmap for 2026, and we’re actively working toward feature parity between Android and iOS.
Facebook Live can be streamed in portrait or landscape, and viewers will see the stream in the same orientation as it is broadcast. The orientation is determined by how the phone is held when you start the...
I want to confirm if you allow RTMP in and out on this Appsumo account. Meaning, I have an Atem as well as Rode video switcher that I can type in the RTMP destination (Omnistream, Restream, etc) and the platform sees it as an "incoming" camera source.
I also have a Panasonic HC-x2 camera that can use my wifi (no cables) and stream directly to an RTMP code.
I want to make sure my RTMP can be a source and a destination

A: Omnistream currently supports RTMP (and SRT) as output destinations only, not as input sources.
This means you can stream out from Omnistream to RTMP destinations such as Restream, social platforms, OBS, or custom servers, but you cannot use RTMP as an incoming source into Omnistream.

If RTMP ingest (using RTMP as an input source) is introduced in the future, AppSumo customers would be included according to their plan tier, just like with other new features we add. We don’t exclude AppSumo users from core functionality when features roll out.
That said, RTMP ingest is not currently available and not officially on the short-term roadma
I m interested on streaming using my mobile and invite guests to the stream. In the listing of tier 2 mentions guests invitations but there are not limits set for this functionality, so I assumed that within tier 2 plan I can invite guests. However reading the question section looks like the guests invitation are limited. Can you clarify any limits please? My aim is to have 3 guests each stream. Would this be included in tier 2?

A: Happy to clarify.
Guest invitations are limited. They are not unlimited per stream, and they are not tied to a specific stream. A guest invitation is a temporary license that allows a guest to use the app and go live.
With a Corporate plan (which Tier 2 upgrades to on AppSumo), you receive 10 guest invitations as a free trial. Each guest invitation is one-time use. Once used, it is consumed....
Thanks for your reply however I realised is not the right product for me as I need for a weekly podcast with different guest so I will stick with Streamyard. But thanks anyway
1. Do you perform automated analysis on streamed/uploaded video/audio (e.g., face/body features, voice characteristics, speech-to-text)? If yes, what’s the lawful basis and can EU users opt out?
2. Where is EU/EEA user data stored/processed, and which key subprocessors do you use? For any non-EU/EEA transfers, do you rely on SCCs (or another mechanism)?
3. What are the retention periods for (a) content, (b) derived/inferred data (profiles), and (c) logs/analytics?

For accurate and up-to-date information regarding data processing, storage locations, subprocessors, retention periods, and GDPR compliance, we recommend reviewing our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions, where all of this is documented in detail.

It's good to have open conversation. I reviewed the terms, but I can’t find the specifics I asked for (countries/storage locations, subprocessor list, or concrete retention periods). Do EU users have an opt-out from any automated analysis of video/audio (e.g., face/body features, voice/speech-to-text), and what lawful basis do you rely on?

And please, do not send the user password via email anymore, what if someone hacks your system and gains access to your sent emails? Thanks
Currently changing password is only supported from the application only.

If you have a DPA/SCC package, a link is fine.
