Q: Does this handle both inbound and outbound email?
Can I use Paced as my only email service and it stored both inbound and outbound email? What about security?
Q: Hello,
I have a question about the possibility to forward email with editing content / Subject
Situation
1.
I sign up for a Sass service (e.g. price tracking) and receive email notification with when price drop 2.I create a dummy paced email to receive notification that contain this price drop notification which contain subject / content that I do not want to forward to target destination email 3.I want to pre configure rule/script (simple rule e.g. delete subject , replace content) to change subject / edit content before forwarding from paced email to destination email.
Question: Could paced email supporting editing content before sending ? If not , is there any workaround to do this via other tool ? Please suggest.
Currently, this is not possible in Paced Email but it was asked once before. Not sure if it's a feature that will make it to the roadmap/product as it's quite niche. Could you do something like that in Zapier? It sounds like you need some kind of automation tool to accomplish what you need.
At the moment, I feel it's slightly out of scope for Paced Email unfortunately. Unless of course there's a strong demand or convincing use case that could benefit a lot of users.
Q: Will I need separate accounts for all my email addresses For example, I have a primary personal email address ...
and a business email address -- will I need an account for each of those or can I just use one of them as the "admin" email address and then create rules and/or recipients to manage the flow of email to each address?
You could totally use one account to accomplish this. Just use one email as the "admin" when signing up, and assign the other email address as a team member. Alternatively, create a new sub-account (and get me to apply an additionally stacked code to it). Sub-accounts can help separate concerns a little better, but isn't a requirement.
Have a play with one account and see how you get on.
Q: Will I need seperate accounts for all my email address?

Q: Hi,
First of all, congratulations for Paced Email, it is a great tool.
I have been doing some testing and noticed that when sending a message from the dashboard, it does not save that message. Is an update planned for a "sent" section?
A sent view is one one the next major features that I plan to release as it happens! Hopefully very soon. You can follow along on the roadmap and upcoming features here: https://feedback.paced.email
Q: Hi,
Do you have a complete tutorial / video help on step by step configuration of all the features?
DO you have any articles / help section RECOMMENDING the best way to use pacedemail to reclaim our over cluttered inboxes?
if yes, please provide links. If no please let us know by when you plan to create these? Thanks. Already got a code and evaluating if I will take several more.
As of yet, I haven't produced any videos but I do intend to. I wanted to allow the product functionality to settle first before commencing on videos. Paced Email is super robust now and shouldn't change drastically, except for the addition of new features.
So if not videos, at least a proper guide and help section even in text is necessary for us to set this up properly and start using it. My last code was purchased in the prior deal a long time ago and in the absence of any proper documentation this is just baking on my shelfware. How do I use your service, I have paid for please explain to me.
Currently, adding team members is a free feature. Additional sub-accounts (aka workspaces) are individually billed and can be stacked via AppSumo. Just let me know your additional codes, and I'll apply them for you ASAP.
Q: Hi Folks
I am sold if your feedback confirms the following is achievable (or in the pipeline):
1.
Add multiple inboxes to Paced email.
2.Run paced email retrospectively over an inbox, I.e. if I purchased paced email could I run it over an existing Gmail inbox to sort and organise the chaos?
3.Can Paced sort email into a folder structure OR by alias such that the inbox does not include those items? Similar to Outlook- importantlynby folders (and possibly nested folders) than by tag (like gmail)?
4.If I delete email from Paced will it delete that email from the source inbox?
5. Do I understand the software correctly in saying that I can create aliases for a custom domain and using paced?
6. How many aliases can we create?
7.What type of rules and automations can we create?
Storage is included in the plan. I don't charge extra for it.
Mail is retained until you delete it, it doesn't effect your normal inbox as it doesn't directly integrate like that. Likewise, vice-versa, your Gmail is separate from Paced Email. Actions in one doesn't affect the other.
1. You can add as many recipients (your personal email addresses) to your Paced Email addresses as you like. You don't directly integrate into your current inboxes so to speak. This leads onto your second question... 2. Some people set up rules on Gmail (and other services) to create rules to forward their current mail to Paced Email. See this article for inspiration: https://www.paced.email/articles/how-to-auto-forward-specific-emails-in-gmail-to-paced-email 3. Paced Email provides you with new email addresses that forward their inbound messages to your existing email addresses privately, securely and in batches. 4. Deleting an alias in Paced Email doesn't touch your existing email client or current setup. It simply bounces any further messages that alias receives. 5. You can certainly bring custom domains to Paced Email in order to create the special forwarders it provides. 6. Unlimited aliases. 7. In terms of rules, you can filter inbound emails on a variety of parameters (from, subject, body, arbitrary header) and then trigger one of the following; ignore, bypass or forward. As for automations, Paced Email integrates with Zapier, Pabbly Connect, Integrately and has WebHooks. API access is coming soon!
I hope this helps. Please take a look at the site, it should help you understand how it all works. Let me know if you have any further questions, always happy to help!
Does the paced inbox occupy storage space, I.e. like a traditional inbox?
If so how much space do we have for each paced alias?
And what is the retention period for email in each paced alias?
If I delete an email from my paced alias folder (or inbox), does that delete the email from Gmail?
Or alternatively if I delete the email from Gmail does that delete the email from my paced alias folder (or inbox)?
Thank you
Q: I don’t know.
I took a look at the roll of good ideas from your users however very few have been implemented so I am disappointed. For instance no folders better UI when you have too many emails will get messy and people will abandon
The feedback site is relatively new and I've just started asking for user input. Lot's of work is continually done (see Jack's comment, below). I recently knocked off a few major updates so will start working through the user feedback if and when it makes sense to the product. Adding something to the feedback site isn't a guarantee it'll be built. It's a forum for discussion.
Oh, by the way. Here's the old roadmap: https://hurricane-pastry-28a.notion.site/ac235e66b183483ca44279d8f7a863c2?v=76303420ab1b4e3e96d00ffa76954f24
Checkout the "launched" column. I didn't spend the time transferring these over as it would take me ages I think! Maybe one day if I get time...
Q: I'm currently using an alternative solution: Let's suppose I want to disclose my email to, say, paced-emai.
com.
My alternative provider gave me a unique name like "myAccount@XXmail.com". Then I can register to paced-email.com as "paged.myAccount@XXmail.com". Whenever I have a new supplier, I give him a redirected email with the supplier name followed by my account ID, and those emails will be redirected to me.
There is no need to create a fake mailbox named "paged.myAccount@XXmail.com", and this is really agile.
This sounds very interesting. Do you want to reach out to me and work together on figuring it out? I think the answer is yes, but would like to clarify a few things first!
Oh I see! Yes, Paced Email supports the same. Please see https://docs.paced.email/article/13-creating-aliases-automatically-on-the-fly

Hi Rikki,
Sure, please email me at pacedemail@fgrazi.33mail.com.
You see, I did *not* create this mailbox, but it has my suffix, so it forwards to me. Should one day I wish to cancel it, then I can do it.
My actual email provider (Fastmail) supports aliases, delays, and so on, but I shall first create them, which does not work in practice.
If somebody asks for your email, and you would like to hide it, you can't simply say, "Hey, just a moment, buddy, I'm gonna setup a bogus one".
Yep, there's a caveat, but honestly I never incurred into it.
Oh I see! Yes, Paced Email supports the same. Please see https://docs.paced.email/article/13-creating-aliases-automatically-on-the-fly
