With regards to our website, we don't sell non-enterprise deals outside the AS promotion. There will be no option in the future to get access to Substrata at this price level (minimum outside of AS is $990/user).

Q: Hi, I use one Gmail account to send emails.

1. Will it analyze all incoming mails irrespective of mail provider like domainname1.com, yahoo.com etc.

2. How many email interactions need to happen with single person/multiple people in same organization for this tool to work effectively.

What specific insights will I get and how to use them?

3. It seems you are not giving CRM integration, what integrations you have and how do they work with your tool in terms of workflow? You said this deal is mapped to enterprise plan, then now CRM restriction, what other restrictions you will put in place later once deal ends? Also some sumolings are saying, you are offering basic plan. So please clarify.

I use one Gmail account to send emails.

1. Correct!

2. It'll work effectively from the first time you use it, and will get better the more you use it. You'll get insights about sentiment, power dynamics, responsiveness, likelihood to close the deal,and more.

3. I've addressed this question numerous times: Q doesn't require a CRM integration to work well. Enterprise clients sometimes require it to supervise large teams (>25). All you need is Gmail / Google workspace (GSuite) email to benefit from it. All the components are listed, all the future items (included) are in the roadmap at feedback.substrata.me

A: Yes. Substrata Q is already used by many PR firms (journalist outreach is indeed a common usecase). Q doesn't tell you exactly what to write, but it gives you an "X-Ray" vision to the perceptions of your prospect and an indication of whether you're on track or not.

I don’t use google products as they are terrible for data/privacy and many of us here are moving away from google. Would love to buy this if i could log in minus google- not going to give them access anymore

According to Statistica's industry research, Google Workspace (Gsuite) leads the office suite marketspace, holding a share of ~59.41% of the market. Microsoft office 365 follows with ~40.39% of the market. The remainder 0.2% is split between many other platforms. Data is per 2020 (there might have been some changes since, but Google is still the leader of this industry).

to this workspace, which I can view and send from the same workspace account.
How does this work regarding "user" based licensing?
Can I buy a single user license and handle all the email accounts with that license, which are linked to this Google Workspace account?

A: Appsumo requires that every license should come with one admin email address. You can add or remove other users if you buy the 3/5 users plan, but the admin email address representing your account should stay the same. It's important to choose the email address you'll actually be using.

A: Q's main purpose is to function as a real time AI assistant for the sophisticated dealmaker (CEOs / Founders / Investment Bankers / VC/PE GMs, Solopreneurs, B2B Sales Pros). It's great at helping you craft an optimal response to your prospect, one that will increase chances of pushing the deal forward.

It's less about massive outreach cycles, because it works on nuances and subtleties that exist in relationship itself, many of which are nonverbal patterns, relative stuff.

Not using a Google / Gmail / G-Workspace (calling them G-platfoms for convenience) interface already takes the experience of using the Chrome extension away from you.

Technically, if emails are sent from any G-platform that you can access, you can go in, analyze whatever threads you want and see the results.

If you'd like, we may think of a dedicated API solution that can accommodate your specific needs but such project isn't part of AppSumo's life time deal.

1. As soon as we cover outlook it will be available for free for existing customers.

2. None. We never worked with SMBs or solopreneurs prior. Our typical customers are enterprise-size firms, tech firms, investment banks, M&A teams, CROs / SVP Sales, CEOs. Normal cost per user starts at $990/year. The AppSumo deal is time limited and we will not support any additional life time deals after the end of this specific promotion (we will continue to support all existing customers though).
At AppSumo's price point, we do not retrieve any financial benefit, but we are venture backed, so we are not dependent on this stream of revenue. Our interest to open our platform to SMBs / Solopreneur is to get more diverse product feedback and use it to improve the product for everyone's benefit.

No. Of course this is not the case.

As a user of Substrata Q you obviously don't care (or know) what email platform your prospect is using. And so, it doesn't matter.

The only limitation is on the user's end, not the prospect's end.

Q users need to be using either Gmail or Google Workspace (Gsuite) for the platform to work properly.

We will release a version for Outlook in the near future.

Q: I'm trying to understand the use case of your software and how the various metrics would actually help me.

E.g. what am I supposed to do with the information that my competence level is low? How exactly will this help me in closing deals? Also most of my sales conversations happen in meetings rather than emails, emails used mostly to get the next call on the calendar or get the contract signed. Will it be useful in this case?
I have just tried it out, the analysis says that I am in the selling zone and the suggestion is to "Stay on course, but don't rush into it" - what am I supposed to do with this information? I can't close the deal yet because the prospect isn't ready. At the same time, when I simulate a reply, it always says that I will be below the "selling zone".
