Bonjour l'application était bien mais le plan à vie n'a duré que quelques mois, aujourd'hui l'application est toujours vivante mais ceux qui ont acheté un plan à vie avec un appsumo ont perdu toutes les fonctionnalités. J'ai écrit un courriel à Appsumo ils n'ont absolument pas honte de n'apporter aucun support. Je suis très déçu par rankspro mais encore plus par Appsumo, aucun respect client pour ce sujet.

They cut features month a month. I can't even create a project now. Moreover, the keyword ranker isn't working since more than one year ago.

There are many reasons to avoid this service; I'll mention one. The service stopped monitoring the given site after less than three months for no reason. In short, it's completely useless. Avoid it.

RanksPro has turned into one of the most disappointing examples of how a company can mishandle early supporters—especially those who purchased through lifetime deals.

I originally invested in the top-tier lifetime offer expecting long-term access to the platform’s features. Instead, what followed feels like a textbook bait-and-switch.

After onboarding users through a lifetime deal (LTD), RanksPro:

Removed or restricted access to core features that users already paid for
Locked LTD users out of functionality entirely
Continued operating the platform—but only for new paying subscribers
Shifted to high monthly pricing (reportedly up to hundreds per month)

This isn’t a case of a company shutting down entirely—that would at least be understandable.

The issue is:

The product is still live and being sold… just not to the people who funded its early growth.

That’s where it crosses from “business failure” into serious ethical concerns.

💬 Communication Breakdown

One of the biggest failures here is communication:

No meaningful warning before access was restricted
No transition plan for LTD users
No real support or accountability afterward

Instead, users were given a discount code to continue paying monthly for something they already bought.

⚠️ Why This Matters

Lifetime deal buyers take a risk—but there’s an unspoken agreement:

If the company succeeds, early supporters aren’t abandoned.

RanksPro appears to have used LTD buyers to:

Fund development
Test and refine the platform
Build initial traction

…and then cut them off once recurring revenue became the focus.

This situation sends a clear message—not just about RanksPro, but about trust in LTD ecosystems overall.

If a company:

Continues operating
Continues selling the same product
But removes access from paid lifetime users

That’s not just disappointing—it undermines confidence in the entire model.

Extremely poor handling of early users.
Not recommended based on trust, reliability, or long-term value.

I purchased the top tier for this product, what a scam!!! I can no longer use this, says I have to upgrade my plan to use any of the features I have already paid for. SCAM!!!! SCAM!!!! SCAM!!!
