Zac_HQ: Vision for MCP with Claude Code?
Would love to know the vision you have for the MCP server?
Is this where I could theoretically take a bunch of raw video assets like recorded reels, long form videos etc and Claude can use Reap to do all the editing and publishing?

Apr 9, 2026A: Our vision for MCP is to make Reap accessible as a tool for LLM agents—so Claude (or any MCP-compatible agent) can use Reap to edit + publish end-to-end.
Think of it like this:
You point the agent at raw assets (long-form, reels, raw b-roll, etc.)
The agent orchestrates reap to run the edit pipeline (cuts/captioning/reframing), generate deliverables, and publish/export.
Teams can build reliable “repeatable workflows” rather than doing everything manually in the UI. We are building infra for virtual video editor timeline and layers .
In other words: yes, you should be able to give an agent a pile of assets and have it produce finished content the same way reap does today, just automated.
The first iteration is few days away in our clipping workflow. We are working to ship the end to end editor soon as well.
