Around Nov. 7 when the refund info and the deadline were posted i didn't get an information email. Only after yesterdays email by Retable I checked back this product page to find Amys notice. 2 days to make such a decision is not enough and I could even have missed the email, especially this time around with all its holidays.
It’s getting really annoying to learn software, provide feedback for improvement, and then get shafted as an early adopter. So tired of it.
Retable was another great platform that simply reneges on its promises and the purchase agreement made. Why does AppSumo even claim “lifetime access” and "All future Team Plan updates” when, in fact, one SaaS after another ignores these promises?
I know, there’s the “guarantee”… but hey, that’s giving me 50% back of my initial investment… but NONE of my time. And the hazzle to move data, get things set up and working elsewhere.
Appsumo stated that Retable is shutting down, but Retable has confirmed that everything is running smoothly and there has been no official communication regarding this situation. Why are we being misled?
I can not access my account(and some other user's as well per Discord). There is no reply from from Retable's side for days now. Retable is truly a wonderful app and one of the best in the genre, but no support or access to my WORK is really screwing with my feeling towards team Retable. Can someone please help me to access my account?

My use case is for use in a small law practice with up to staff (including lawyers).
What I am doing currently is to move the list of clients and matters from Excel to Retable. I have created a project with the following tables - "Clients", "2023 Matters" and "2024 Matters". I have shared the project with the front desk and paralegals so that each team member can add new clients and new matters. Below is a list of improvements I would like to see.
1. Currently, we add a new client on the clients table and then go to the matter table to create a new matter. The matters table has a client's column. We use this column to link each matter to the respective clients. We will like to be able to go to the clients table, click on a client, and then have an option to add a new matter for that client while retaining the ability to add multiple clients to one matter. Is this something possible at this time or can it be included in your future tweaks? (2) We want the ability to click on a client and see a list of the matters linked to the client. Is this possible or on the roadmap?
(3) We want to be able to share a project with some team members without giving them access to all the tables in that project. Is this on on the roadmap?
(4) We want to be able to customize the buttons on the UI. For example, the button that says "add new row", we want to be able to change it to read "add new client" or "add new matter" depending on the particular table. Is this possible?
(5) We want to be able to hide some of the commands depending on the user. For example, if we dont want a particular user to be able to add new tables, is there a way to disable or hide that option in that user's interface?
(6) I am hoping to use this to track billable time, expenses, and clients' trust deposits/withdrawals (only as a backup) in the future. This will require a view where each matter can have a tab for time, expenses, and trust deposits/withdrawals. Is this a feature to expect in the future?
(7) Finally (for now), is it possible to add a feature to enable references and lookups from one project in another project? This way, one may create a project with tables containing lists which can be referenced or looked up from tables in another project?
These are great suggestions. What you and I are looking for are linkable databases with a common primary key, similar to Microsoft Access, but with automations and conditional logic. Retable has so much unfulfilled potential. I hope they take your feedback on board.

I wasn't able to find an answer in the site documentation (or here on AppSumo), so I figured I'd ask -
Retable seems like a potentially great Airtable alternative for me. For my particular case use, one of the things I do the most with AT, I utilize AT's extensions - "Page Designer" in particular - to help me build tables that I can plug order information into, for the information to populate a page template I've configured. Essentially, I build an order receipt to provide to clients [that has all of my business information and their order information filled in from the table info].
I don't see anything about extensions offered, which somewhat renders the info tables useless for me. I also can't find anything about using the information to build a document, and tried the demo site but was unable to do so.
In case I missed it - is building a document something that is possible with Retable, or is it something that's going to be added onto the roadmap for implementation soon? And are AT similar extensions for tables going on the roadmap in the future?
Really this specific [document building] ability is the only thing holding me back from switching from AT, but if it's going to be added in the future that could be a potentially big win for me.

Document creation is something we do consider to add, but it requires a use case on our side.
We like to release what is requested and desired other than to create something that does not work.
Pdf generation is our first step out from the records. And also record templates is something we unintentioally added as “default value” for each column.
You can always join our community in discord to see our releases and get notified on early about features. And it is a chance to meet like minded people because on there we are voting our one community feature to be built on the upcoming sprint.
Hello again! It's been some time since I asked this, and now Airtable has restricted some options and made it more difficult (in my own case use) to easily create documents/generate pdfs. I have tried to review Retable's feature requests/roadmap and documentation, but couldn't find this feature mentioned. Has document creation been added as a feature since June, or will this ability be added on at all? It's become extremely important feature for my own case use (creating documents to provide to clients and partners), and I'm really up a creek without it. Thanks!

1st - if we run out of those credits, what's their cost for extra credits? 2nd - I'm an Airbnb manager, and I want to manage the inventory of my units. I manage a total of 13 units, and each unit would have about 30 to 40 different items to manage, like toilet paper, bedding, towels, coffee, soap, etc. I aim to have the cleaners submit a form when those items are running low, but I do not understand how it would count for the automation and records. So let's say that out of 40 items, a cleaner submitted a form to notify me that we're low in toilet paper and shampoo for 1 property. Would count as 2 automation (because it's 2 rows/items) and then I'd have only 8 credits left?
1- By default, you have 1,000 automation run counts for each project. If you need more automation run count credits, you can boost it with the automation run count addon. Automation run count addons are available in +25,000 packages, and allow you to increase your automation run counts up to +125,000. The price of the 1 package (+25,000 package) is $5.90/month. You get 2 months free with annual purchases and can purchase it for $59.00/year. Additionally, if you have AppSumo Tier 4, you will be offered +125,000 automation run count as a promotion for one of your projects. However, if the cleaner sends it in 2 different forms or needs to fill out the same form twice, it will be deducted twice. So, if the submitted form is added to your table in 2 separate rows, this means the "when the form is submitted" action is triggered twice.

On the Map View, how do I add labels to the points on the map from a table column. Seems like this should be easy to do but can't figure it out. Makes it much more useful than just points on the map to be able to open the map view and have each point labeled. Thanks!
To add a pin to any location in the map view, you should add a "Geolocation" column to your table and select the addresses you want to display on the map. You can also add a new pin by right-clicking anywhere in the map view twice.

Hi, my question was more around how to add a label to a pinned location. If I have a map of three stores and want to have the store name show up when I open the map view, how do I do that?
