Hidden Models and a Total Breach of Trust
I’ve been a supporter of SellerPic for a long time, having invested in their highest AppSumo tier with the expectation that the "Lifetime Deal" (LTD) would honor its promise: full access to the product and all future updates. Instead, this has turned into a textbook case of a "bait-and-switch."
The Hidden Dashboard (Deliberate Exclusion)
The most alarming discovery is that SellerPic has created a "two-tier" reality. Through side-by-side comparisons and screen recordings, our community proved that monthly subscribers have access to a suite of superior, high-performing models that are completely hidden from AppSumo purchasers. While the paid monthly portal features the latest tech, the AppSumo portal is restricted to a handful of inferior, legacy models. They didn't just forget to update us—they intentionally scrubbed the UI to hide the fact that better versions even exist.
The "BYOK" Paywall
When the first major update (VEO3) arrived, the promise of "all updates included" was replaced with a "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK) requirement. Rather than providing a credit-based system or a fair bridge for early adopters, they forced us to purchase external API keys to use the features we already paid to access.
Gaslighting and Censorship
When confronted with evidence of these discrepancies, SellerPic’s leadership didn’t offer a solution; they went on the offensive. They blamed the community for "disrupting" their business and, in a final act of bad faith, "nuked" (deleted) their entire Discord server. They wiped years of community history, feedback, and evidence of their promises just to silence the growing number of complaints.
The Verdict
An LTD is a partnership based on trust. SellerPic has broken that trust by:
1. Hiding features behind separate portals to mislead LTD holders.
2. Reneging on "All Updates" by forcing BYOK costs on Tier 3 users.
3. Purging community channels to avoid accountability.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but the AppSumo community needs to know: SellerPic is currently prioritizing short-term monthly revenue by cannibalizing the users who supported them early on.
Avoid this developer until they restore the promised models and stop the censorship.

SellerPic switched up after refund period ended.
I’m extremely disappointed with SellerPic’s handling of LTD users.
In the question section and founder section, there were multiple promises that future models would be added and that LTD users would be able to use their AI credits toward those models. However, it now appears that subscribers are receiving model updates while LTD users are being left behind. SellerPic even stated that they changed their mind because it was no longer affordable.
That feels like a bait-and-switch.
LTD plans were presented as being aligned with the subscriber plans, but over the past six months, LTD users have received only about two meaningful updates, while the subscriber side has received many updates that LTD users do not have access to. As a result, SellerPic now feels dated compared to other tools in the market.
I also know of other platforms offering unlimited 1080p generation through LTDs, and several platforms include newer models such as Kling 3.0, Happy Horse, and Seedance 2.0 within monthly LTD credit allowances of around 6,000 credits. I will not name those platforms out of respect, but the comparison makes SellerPic’s current LTD offering feel even more disappointing.
SellerPic started off as one of the best LTDs I owned, but it has unfortunately become one of my worst.
The Swap Model feature is also outdated and does not work as expected. The way it is supposed to work is that you upload an image of a model wearing clothing, then select another model from a separate section, either by uploading your own model or using one of SellerPic’s built-in models. The tool should place the selected model into the clothing from the original image.
Instead, the results often morph the two people together. It does not accurately replace the original model with the selected model. This defeats the purpose of the feature because users need the selected model to remain consistent, not blended with the person in the clothing reference image.
SellerPic should improve the underlying Swap Model architecture so it preserves the selected model’s identity while accurately transferring the clothing. Since Nano Banana is already available in the chat image section, that technology should also be integrated into the Swap Model workflow.
Another major issue is how SellerPic handled feedback from LTD users. When these concerns were brought up in their Discord, instead of addressing the issues directly or fixing the problems, they shut down or dismantled the Discord community. The explanation given was that they wanted to focus support through email, but from the outside, it looked like an attempt to hide the fact that many LTD users were upset and openly discussing their complaints.
That response only made the situation worse. LTD users were not asking for special treatment; they were asking SellerPic to honor the promises and expectations that were set when the LTD was sold.
To add insult to injury, I and other LTD users gave SellerPic feedback and suggestions on how to improve the platform. Instead of rewarding or supporting the LTD users who helped provide those recommendations, SellerPic appears to have taken that feedback and used it to improve the subscriber plans, while leaving the LTD users who gave the feedback without access to those same improvements. That feels unfair and disrespectful to the very users who helped shape the product.
Support has also declined. In the past, email responses usually came within 24 hours. Lately, I have seen cases where responses take weeks, and in some cases, emails are not answered at all. That makes the decision to shut down Discord and push users toward email support even more frustrating, because the email support experience itself has become unreliable.
SellerPic also does not seem to be paying attention to how other newer LTDs are performing. Other LTD companies are treating their customers more fairly, communicating better, and offering more updated features. For an AI company, SellerPic now feels very behind in this space.
Their social media presence also reflects this decline. They have not posted any strong or useful YouTube updates in about five months, and instead of building trust with the community, they seem to be dividing it. That is not a sustainable path for any business. Eventually, more users may start making videos or public posts about this situation because of how poorly LTD concerns have been handled.
Overall, LTD users were promised future model access and a plan comparable to subscribers. Right now, that does not feel like what is being delivered.

My experience with SellerPic – simply WOW! 5 tacos
So, I’ve been using SellerPic for several months now, and I can say one thing: WOW.
And not just because it’s an awesome tool with regular updates and improvements, but because SO FAR— and I hope forever—they treat AppSumo users like real customers and not like second-class citizens. Now that’s what I call customer friendliness. The support is incredible; they don’t just respond quickly and competently, but they even follow up several days after a conversation if they have new info on a topic or something similar. That’s been unmatched so far. I have one request for SellerPic: Keep doing exactly this, and you’ll build a loyal, amazing customer base and community. Stay true to us Sumolings, and we’ll rave about this tool everywhere. Don’t shut us out of updates after a while like so many do—involve us in the development. That way, it’s a win-win situation. Honestly, I love SellerPic.
One more note: I don’t have an online store and don’t sell physical products—I’m in the online coaching and education sector—and even here, I have tons of use cases. So it’s definitely worthwhile for anyone who wants to create high-quality content, no matter the industry.
5 out of 5 tacos, no question!
