It is a bit overwhelming when you first start. However, the onboarding process makes it easy to get started.

Well designed and everything just works. I've bought dozens of Appsumo deal and this is the only one I came back to give a 5 star.

What an awesome in-depth SEO analysis tool SEMDASH is! This is the Swiss-Army-Knife for SEOs. It's comprehensive in its component offerings for overall SEO/Ranking/Optimization insights and suggestions. The Dash is easy to use and I would recommend this Ahrefs killer to anyone looking next-level their SEO game.

Loving the layout, very easy to use and follow. Lots of explainer videos to learn how to use the system.

The data is solid but the credits burn fast. In many cases I don’t see the data it says it’s scanning up, it only shows the top results and when I ask it to show me all, it demands I spend more money or eats even more credits. They list in their presale material how they count credits and the math is no where near mathing. Based upon their description I should be getting charged .50 credits per line, .35 for one type of data and .25 for a second type. yet it charged me 50 credits and returned less than 10 rows of data. So that was more than 5 credits per line. Then when I clicked a link it charged another 25 credits.

The UI is beautiful, I love how it gives you the AI overview strategy and intent for each keyword (eg: commercial, informational, transactional), but my satisfaction stops there. It's too bad because the existing tools have pretty dated UIs and Semdash really shines here but it's like he asked himself, how can I make SEO research as painful and expensive as possible for people?

The credit system is just awful and aside from the pretty UI, so is the workflow process. Who has time to export keywords page by page and then upload them to google sheets one by one? I sure don't and I don't even offer SEO as a primary service. We need to be able to save our entire keyword list and filter through the results as much as we want without worrying about depleting our entire months worth of credits.

Domain overview only goes back 6 months so that's pretty useless. You're charged 50 credits for it and then if you click on anything inside of it, are charged more credits.

He said our results are now being cached for 30 minutes (which is not long enough), but I'm not seeing this to be true outside of the Keyword Discovery which does not provide anything worth saving.

It's just not practical. People have been providing the same feedback over and over and it sounds like he's finally starting to embrace some of it but unless he makes some big changes to the credit system and workflow process, I don't see Semdash being a tool any serious SEO professional will be using.

Semdash gives the user pretty strong data. It runs excellent reports, and most of the information is actionable.
My problem with it is that, if the screen refreshes when you go back to a page, so does the data, and the user is charged another 20 to 50 credits, depending on the report. I didn't even realize that my tab was open when I finished running the report last Thursday. When I opened it up today to run reports on another domain, I had gone from 600+ credits to 115 credits. My tab refreshed and I was down to 90 credits.
I pray that the monthly credit refresh didn't happen or this is going to be a sparse month with minimal reporting or research.
The support has been very responsive as there was an issue when I first logged in. I have no complaints about the support being provided. I may be putting in a ticket for this, but I may not care that much to do it.
In all fairness this was my fault. I don't know if there is a way to stop the auto refreshing of pages, but I will be closing the browser tab, from now on, unless I forget of course, then I will simply hang my head in shame.
I like it, but I don't like it. Still trying to decide.

I have been using Semdash app for my microstock keyword research, and I must say it is incredibly useful. The platform provides accurate and relevant keyword suggestions, making it much easier to optimize my content for better visibility. The user interface is intuitive and user-friendly, allowing me to quickly find the keywords I need without any hassle. Overall, Semdash has significantly improved my workflow and helped me achieve better results in my microstock endeavors. Highly recommended!

just bought this, so probably I'm overlooking something. nevertheless, until I figure out how to get the app to analyze my site for my keywords, it's completely useless and unfortunately, I can't seem to send a message to ask a question ... and I really hate wasting my time like this.

Hi, I've purchased a lot of software from AppSumo over the years, and while this one initially seemed promising, I was quickly disappointed once I began using it.

I attempted to export the keyword data for a competitor (which showed at least 17 pages of keywords), and simply viewing the number of pages cost me 25 credits. Only the first page of keywords was downloadable, and despite searching, I couldn’t find a way to export the full list.

This felt both limiting and frustrating — and ultimately made the tool unusable for my needs. I've never been this dissatisfied with an AppSumo purchase, and I’m surprised this product wasn’t vetted more thoroughly. Unfortunately, this experience left me looking for a better solution elsewhere.

For small business owners who are learning how they site is performing or even a marketing expert what a great tool really is super easy to use and great product

This app has alot of potential! My two main grievances are
1. The credits get used up FAST.
2. The Domain reporting doesn't show you any insights around timeframes, so metrics like traffic (especially competitor traffic) are impossible to actually know what they translate to as far as impact. Does my competitor have 30k visitors a month? A Week? That clearer visibility would be amazing.

I ran a keyword discovery search. It's not allowing export. Button is there, it won't let me export though. I can save it to a Keyword List but I'm sure the system will deduct credits again to get the data back. WTH!!! Apparently the searches (any search in SemDash) are cached for 30 minutes now which I don't see that as an upgrade.I ran a search, credits were used, why can't I access it without paying again in credits? I haven't used other SEO tools. Is this normal? I've contemplated multiple times whether or not i want to keep this. The credits are wiped out VERY quickly. I think this is the biggest problem for users- data is not saved beyond 30 minutes so to re-run it credits are used and thus you either need Tier 3 or return it- IMHO

REPLY TO MY MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER IS MIND BLOWING - I figure a way to grab my report via the Keyword List (FYI) - But the root of many users issues (not just me) is not having data I ran 30 minutes ago.

I like the tool overall. I appreciate its relevant and sufficient information, as well as its interface. However, I'm concerned about the credit consumption. Every time you change pages, apply a filter, or perform a new search, 25 credits get deducted, which can be frustrating. I thought I could save credits by exporting to CSV, but you need to go page by page to perform the keyword research export. This aspect needs optimization to improve the user experience.

Imagine you starting with a search on page one without any filter. 25 credits deducted - fair.

Then, you go to next page - 25 credits deducted again. Any new page you visit is going to deduct 25 credits.

Then, you put some filters, and boom - 25 credits deducted again.

With such a credit system, I wonder who can do a full research before they deplete the credit.

The developer said they have recently implemented "caching" system so that you don't get charge when re-visiting the same page within 30 mins.

But you do get charge if you try to reach a new page. As I said, imagine you are going to page through 10 pages, you'll be 250 credits less already.

Export CSV also just exports for the current page, not the whole search results.

If the credit system is not improving, I am afraid I am going to ask for a refund.
