A: Hello, thanks for reaching out! "Verified" and "validated" mean the same thing here. Our help article still uses the older word, but the Email domains page now shows a green "Verified" label, next to a Re-check button, once your domain has passed the check. If that green label is what you're seeing, there's nothing more to do on the domain itself. If you see a "Verify" button instead, the check hasn't passed yet.

Once a domain is verified, SendFox sends from it only when the From address on your email uses that exact domain. For example, if you verified yourdomain.com, an email with the From address [email protected] goes out from that address. An email whose From address is on another domain (a Gmail address, for example) still goes out from [email protected], with your address set as the reply-to so replies still reach you.

If your domain shows Verified and the From address on your emails already uses that domain, but they still arrive from [email protected], please email [email protected] with the email address on your SendFox account and your domain name, and the team will check your setup directly.
