The app has a great UX and a lot of potential BUT I found 2 very pressing issues for local SEO
1) If I'm managing a location for a company that has 20+ locations, I can't monitor the URL for 1 of the 20 locations. The customer service rep kept telling me to put the top level domain - which potentially gives me 19 extra locations and 100 keywords that I don't need (total of 1,900 keywords)
2) The app does not allow you to manage rankings by city or by state... Only by country. Essentially useless for local business
3) I decided to take a gamble and stack codes for a future local rankings feature...

Hey Jaye18,
I'm happy to inform you that we've launched the BETA version of the local tracking feature!
You're now able to track your rankings on a City and ZIP code level! Feel free to try it out. I hope it'll be valuable for your projects!
Feel free to reach us through chat support, and we'll be glad to help if anything needed.
I’ve actually been using SerpWatch for a while and It’s amazing how far the team has come in improving the product to offer (what to me is) the best rank tracker on the market.
As a former SerpRobot user, it was the outdated interface that put me out the most, as well as the barebones data and the lackluster reporting options. SerpWatch is the complete opposite of that.
Other features that got me hooked on SerpWatch: - The ability to leave notes on the SERP timeline (I used to do this in a calendar app which took a lot of tab changes and ctrl+F’s) - The Zapier integration (I can finally turn ranking changes into actionable tasks with zero manual work) - Their awesome customer support!
Even though it’s a complete tool as it is, I’m excited to see the new features announced in the roadmap (hopefully, they'll release the local feature first).
PS the deals here are a steal, especially if you consider the developer’s bonus offer!
It's a really great tool. I use it to track my polish website and it works great. Imported a list of keywords using CSV file quickly, and started updating immediately. I get email notifications for shifts, and having a nice overview ofdifferent SERP features is really great. Highly recommended. Having ability to set up a white label portal for clients raises the value even more.
I bad for English. I just went to review good tool for me small company. I buy just 1 code. In future if buy more than code how to put it. Love Produce and Team support
This product exactly meets my needs for tracking my SERP results. I have to say that this is an excellent product and a very good price and I am delighted to know that the number of tests renew every month and the license is good for 10 years!
Customer service is excellent and a special thank-you to Dusan and Slobodan for going the extra mile.
We're a small company wanting to monitor keyword change with minimal setup and hassle. This is exactly what we need.
Also, at 8am GMT I asked a question about email notifications, specifically having separate client and admin email notifications. I received a reply, investigation and update in minutes and a strong assurance that my suggestion would be implemented after being directed to the feedback forum to add the feature suggestion
Hello! I have bought an account but support wan't fix my issue.
I want to use exact match operator - “search term”
"Force an exact-match search. Use this to refine results for ambiguous searches, or to exclude synonyms when searching for single words." Example: “steve jobs” https://ahrefs.com/blog/google-advanced-search-operators/
In serpwatch.io now it's not possible.

Hi maxximseo,
Thanks for the message! Exact match operators for keyword targeting is a rare usecase.
Could you describe it to me a bit so we can understand it and consider it for implementation?
I'm already using Serpwatch and see deal on AppSumo directly bought.
First , this tool working stable. Help desk very helpful. If give any feedback for tool developers making quickly or adding roadmap. The Best things, you will see day by day data and adding note SERP timetable. If miss this deal you will be sorry.
I stacked 5 codes since I see potential in this product. However I have the following points that need improvement:
* the UI feels really slow at times * the initial measurement for new keywords is super slow. I think there should be a priority queue here. * the new Google Analytics 4 properties are not supported, so it seems only legacy Google Analytics is supported * There seems to be no API to integrate data into my own dashboards.

Hey Phil,
Thanks for the message! Lets address each point!
- The app was experiencing heavier load than normal with the launch of appsumo, we scaled in the background. If you're still experiencing any issues could you send a message to chat support?
- Same issue as the above, devs are rectified this.
- Traffic values are still available. Could you tell me what metrics you feel are missing from 4 so we can add it to feedback for future integration consideration.
- Glad you're interested in the api. We are stabilizing it at the moment. <blockquote class="trello-card"><a href="https://trello.com/c/5hR3KnuK/38-local-results-api">Local Results API</a></blockquote><script src="https://p.trellocdn.com/embed.min.js"></script>
1. KW input was smooth. Copy pasted 300+ KWs and faced no issue. CSV upload was not working - don't know why.
2. Once KWs are there it takes a bit of time to populate data. For a project with 105 KWs it took almost 15 mins to gather all the data.
3. UI is great.
4. The Sorting function is not smooth and I think it should be improved.
5. search volume and CPC shows kinda wrong info. Doesn't match with any other KW research tools.
6. Rank tracking is accurate - big thumbs up.
Feature request: I would love to have an on-demand rank update. Say for example I select 20 keywords and run a query to get real time serp result for those keywords. It can use my daily limit.
Its 4 tacos for now. May upgrade to 5 if you address the feedback and the feature request :)
There seems to be a trend now.. a rise in all in one tools.. and a rise in expanded tool set to deliver more value and this is one of those tools. Its all about workflow now.. a tool that can shorten the workflow process will give you more time to do other things and time is gold..
Bought 1 to test out (sucker for seo and data tools).. and I was surprised about the features, now testing the agency portion (yes even with 1 deal) and can include this as a client bonus since the reports can be white labelled.
This would be a good fit with website auditor (seo powersuite, previous appsumo deal), a tool to validate and strengthen overall on-page seo ranking together.
The Bonus you get from this tool 1. Cannibalisation report - this is such a good idea to help you focus on specific pages and re-align pages that compete with your main pages. 2. UI is fun to use.. 3. The note option on the timeline is such useful tool. 4. Top 10 SERPS is available but need to be more visible, you dont see it unless you hover over left side of keyword. 5. Featured Snippets
What the tool needs to develop more. 1. Notifications need to be toned down a bit.. and a clearer setup should be part of the welcome note. 2. Keyword Grouping would be good. 3. Bounce Rate by Keyword would help push optimization. (once connected to GA) 4. On Page SEO score on main keyword target. 5. Keyword Stuffing Alert. 6. Would be great to add more customized GA reports since there is option to connect.
If you dont have any other tools, this would be a good starting point to get your SEO stack together.. pair it with Screpy (also on appsumo - as a scorecard but with keyword ranking too... but has google lighthouse for speed, performance and optimization checks.)
Being an SEO Specialist, I am enjoying the simplicity this tool projects from the interface. Some really great features and it is great to see which keywords are showing in different SERP features on Google. I have found it running a little slow, but with a big intake of new clients, that will be expected. But I hope to see these guys grow and kick more goals in the future.
This is a great tool. I have been waiting for AppSumo to put a keyword tracking tool up, and I honestly like this one more than accuranker that was previously on here. I think that it's already very feature rich.
I do wish they had an option to only check rank changes weekly rather than daily. I also think the screenshots could be a little bit clear (they're hard to read and look like an old scanned document or something) but outside of that this tool is perfect for what I wanted and I highly recommend others pick it up.
I have used quite a few rank trackers like Accuranker, SERPWatcher, SERPRobot which are really good but always seem to miss 1-2 feature which could make real difference. Some didnt some have a good UI or didn't offer much customization. Enough of those guys, why I bought SERPWatch: 1. Really great UI! 2. Option to add Note & see Google Updates (If say you made any content changes or took a link any day, you don't need to remember each date for every keyword) 3. If the keyword is in featured snippet 4. Most important, you can see Screenshot of SERP & actually see what kind of Ads or Google rich snippets are coming in between. 5. A Client Panel where they can check their rankings. 6. Probably the best support for a rank tracking tool.
Improvements required: 1. The UI is great but it doesn't offer much info in a single glance. If we consider SERPRobot, it allows a low of kws in a single view. No need of scrolling much. 2. Option to assign projects to clients. If I have already added the project in my dashboard, I can't directly assign it to a client. I need to re add the project on client's dashboard. 3. On demand rank refresh (Sometimes you just want to refresh your rankings because you read about a Google update just now) :P
All in all, it's a steal deal! I dont think any SEO should miss this out.
This is a very promising tool. I love the user interface, it’s so simple to navigate and it looks very modern. The integration with analytics is great and the Google algorithm changes indicator is a nice touch. More importantly, rankings seem to be very accurate.
Ow, and it may not sound like a big deal, but the possibility to reorder keywords by dragging them up and down is a blessing to me. My current (soon to be ex) rank tracker does not allow reordering and it’s a nightmare… The Ctr+f kind of nightmare
The customer support is also 5 tacos! I had an issue and it was solved in a professional and quick manner.
It looks like more cool features are coming. I saw you included the feature I suggested about keyword cannibalization in your plans, in Trello. Thanks for listening. When you update your tool with such features, please don’t forget to make them available to us sumolings, your first supporters.
Quite some interested users are asking for higher keyword limits. As a suggestion, maybe you could give the possibility to also check rankings every 2 or 3 days, or maybe even weekly, instead of the maximum 24 hour limit. That way, a user wouldn’t use so many resources and you could extend the keyword limits.
If SerpWatch keeps going in the right direction, it will be one of the best. But even at this early stage, it’s already highly recommended.
Cheers and thanks for the deal!

Hey Gambuzino!
Cannibalization was an excellent suggestion! Thanks for stellar review, we wont disappoint :)
This is my first Appsumo review so ill keep it short and sweet. - The UI is easy to understand and clean. - Its easy to setup a new project especially if you have used a tracker before - Lots of features / upcoming features - Seeing analytics for each keyword is a nice feature
What im not a fan of - There seems to be additional micro transaction that eat into the users keyword limit 1. Adding competitors is 5 keywords (this is usually free in most rankers and does not take of the keyword limit) 2. Changing frequency doubles or triples the keyword limit. Accuranker can manually update keyword data and does not in my experience cost additional keywords to do so.
I think these two points are make or break for me.

Thanks for compliments testing123!
I'll direct more attention to your concerns!
1. Competitor tracking is actually free for the top 10 competitors of any keyword you are tracking. If you'd like to add a competitor that's not in the top 10 for a keyword you're already tracking only then will you be charged. It won't charge 5 keywords, I see why you thought that - apologies our documentation was incorrect, I updated it. <a href="https://help.serpwatch.io/docs/features/search-intelligence-hub/keyword-level/competitor-tracking/#adding-competitors">https://help.serpwatch.io/docs/features/search-intelligence-hub/keyword-level/competitor-tracking/#adding-competitors</a>
2. I'm not totally familiar with accuranker, I can't find any information about change in frequency on their site, I just found this 3rd party statement. <img src="https://serpwatch.io/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/accuranker_check_frequency.jpg" width="80%/"> Their costs are directly proportional to the amount of checks that are done just like ours so I don't think they can offer this without extra cost if they do allow automated change in frequency.
I'm in two minds about Serpwatch for these reasons:
1) It's screaming out for local search. 2) 1500 keywords and insisting they're tracked at least daily is a little odd. I've worked on SEO projects for many years and all that would do is put me on edge. I'd prefer every 3 days or weekly.
It would open up the market to SMB, SME and microbusinesses who won't usually have someone taking notice every single day. It doesn't work for agencies too well either, as the numbers are quite low. As per the feedback in the questions section, allowing more keywords with less frequency as an option would make more sense for both businesses and agencies and give you one hell of a source for case studies, testimonials etc.
3) how can you track keywords if you can't properly research them? I imagine this will result in more of the 'oh look, a big shiny keyword that I'll try to rank for,' and take all the conscious thought out of SEO.
Almost every other tracking tool includes a keyword research facility so you can assess the difficulty and likelihood before targeting a search term. I'm currently using SERanking to do the research and having to copy and paste or export and upload a CSV to SerpWatch. It's a little bit annoying to have to do that, upsets the workflow and all.
4) It would be great if projects could have folders and/or subfolders, you might have that already but I can't find it if you do? I'd often group them by campaigns, keyword groups or service/product groups (if a customer launches a new range of products, the launch would usually be a folder within a wider project.)
5) Cannibalisation. It's a good idea to know if multiple pages are ranking for the same term so I can de-optimise one of them.
What's good... 1. Tracking against the algorithm updates - it's a pretty cool feature to see how much your rankings tank. 2. Estimated revenue from rankings - though I'd like to be able to edit the number because how could anyone know my pricing structures? 3. Rankings appear to be accurate and include useful information including difficulty (which makes a little more annoying that I have to use SERanking (or other tools) alongside SerpWatch as you can clearly access the data.) 4. The platform is solid, not encountered any glitches.
4 tacos this time, with a decent keyword research facility and more flexibility around how users utilise the cap and I'd probably give it 5 tacos. Weekly checks would mean 10,500 search terms for the same amount of checks as 1500 tracked on a daily basis.

Hey Christopher,
Thanks for the review and 4 stars.
Lets take a look at each concern!
1) Local search - this is the most requested feature and good news it's on the roadmap and 80% done. We need to stablize it a bit but you can see a video of it on the roadmap <a href="https://trello.com/c/rVVpBw8r/7-local-tracking">https://trello.com/c/rVVpBw8r/7-local-tracking</a>
2) Fair point, heard this a couple of times, we'll take this into consideration.
3) Keyword suggest is here, albeit needs to be expanded upon for in depth research. <img src="https://serpwatch.io/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/suggest.gif" width="80%/">
4) Tagging of keywords is on the roadmap <a href="https://trello.com/c/hEJM6oA5/8-cross-project-tagging"> It's an interesting idea to add folders for projects or tag projects as well </a> <iframe width="80%" height="400px" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/IFxSDtn8ZyY?start=154" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>
5) Good idea, we saw this done well if a few other tools. We are considering using the notification system for cannibilization.
I like this tool, it's nicely designed and does what it claims to do.
Importing keywords is a pain as I had to go through and manually tick them all and with over 180 this was pretty maddening. (I apologize if there was another way to do this, I couldn't find it.)
Once the kws are in the interface is easy to use and the tracing works well. Sharing rankings to LinkedIn etc is not a feature I would ever use personally.
Improvements - adding keywords is more expensive than it should be. As another reviewer said, you switch 1 keyword to hourly tracking and suddenly you have nothing left in your allowance. - keyword suggestions would be good - would be nice to have basic notifications of kws I rank for & the option to track them - sorting a list of 100 kws can be slow, would be nice to have a shorter list option
This is probably a 3.5 taco product now - more kws would make it a 4.5

Hi there - thanks for the comments on the nice design.
You should be able to batch click import all, here's a screenshot. <img src="https://serpwatch.io/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/import_csv.gif" width=80%/>
Improvements: - Unfortunately there are costs associated with running a global network of aggregators. Each request has a cost so if you check hourly (24 times daily) this multiplies costs by 24. - keyword suggest is here <img src="https://serpwatch.io/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/suggest.gif" width=80%/> - notifications system explanation is here <iframe width="80%" height="400px" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/0M3fKEFyvrQ" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> <a href="https://help.serpwatch.io/docs/features/search-intelligence-hub/notifications-set-up/">Documentation for notifications is you'd here</a> if you'd like to deep dive. - sorting: Thanks this is a bug, sent to devs they will add back in 5, 50, 100 and all. FYI there is a search feature at the top to fast find your keyword.

The Best Rank tracker!
I have used quite a few rank trackers like Accuranker, SERPWatcher, SERPRobot which are really good but always seem to miss 1-2 feature which could make real difference. Some didnt some have a good UI or didn't offer much customization. Enough of those guys, why I bought SERPWatch:

That way, a user wouldn’t use so many resources and you could extend the keyword limits.
If SerpWatch keeps going in the right direction, it will be one of the best. But even at this early stage, it’s already highly recommended.
Cheers and thanks for the deal!

Looks promising
This is my first Appsumo review so ill keep it short and sweet.
- The UI is easy to understand and clean.
- Its easy to setup a new project especially if you have used a tracker before
- Lots of features / upcoming features
- Seeing analytics for each keyword is a nice feature
What im not a fan of
- There seems to be additional micro transaction that eat into the users keyword limit
1. Adding competitors is 5 keywords (this is usually free in most rankers and does not take of the keyword limit)
2. Changing frequency doubles or triples the keyword limit. Accuranker can manually update keyword data and does not in my experience cost additional keywords to do so.
I think these two points are make or break for me.

May 9, 2024Thanks for compliments testing123!
I'll direct more attention to your concerns!
1. Competitor tracking is actually free for the top 10 competitors of any keyword you are tracking. If you'd like to add a competitor that's not in the top 10 for a keyword you're already tracking only then will you be charged. It won't charge 5 keywords, I see why you thought that - apologies our documentation was incorrect, I updated it.
<a href="https://help.serpwatch.io/docs/features/search-intelligence-hub/keyword-level/competitor-tracking/#adding-competitors">https://help.serpwatch.io/docs/features/search-intelligence-hub/keyword-level/competitor-tracking/#adding-competitors</a>
2. I'm not totally familiar with accuranker, I can't find any information about change in frequency on their site, I just found this 3rd party statement.
<img src="https://serpwatch.io/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/accuranker_check_frequency.jpg" width="80%/">
Their costs are directly proportional to the amount of checks that are done just like ours so I don't think they can offer this without extra cost if they do allow automated change in frequency.
Hope that helps!

Great for national rank tracking
3. Rankings appear to be accurate and include useful information including difficulty (which makes a little more annoying that I have to use SERanking (or other tools) alongside SerpWatch as you can clearly access the data.)

May 9, 2024Hey Christopher,
Thanks for the review and 4 stars.
<img src="https://serpwatch.io/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/suggest.gif" width="80%/">
4) Tagging of keywords is on the roadmap <a href="https://trello.com/c/hEJM6oA5/8-cross-project-tagging"> It's an interesting idea to add folders for projects or tag projects as well </a>

5) Good idea, we saw this done well if a few other tools. We are considering using the notification system for cannibilization.
Thanks for the kind words and balanced feedback!

Keywords are expensive
I like this tool, it's nicely designed and does what it claims to do.
Importing keywords is a pain as I had to go through and manually tick them all and with over 180 this was pretty maddening. (I apologize if there was another way to do this, I couldn't find it.)
Once the kws are in the interface is easy to use and the tracing works well.
Sharing rankings to LinkedIn etc is not a feature I would ever use personally.
Improvements
- adding keywords is more expensive than it should be. As another reviewer said, you switch 1 keyword to hourly tracking and suddenly you have nothing left in your allowance.
- keyword suggestions would be good
- would be nice to have basic notifications of kws I rank for & the option to track them
- sorting a list of 100 kws can be slow, would be nice to have a shorter list option
This is probably a 3.5 taco product now - more kws would make it a 4.5

May 9, 2024Hi there - thanks for the comments on the nice design.
You should be able to batch click import all, here's a screenshot.
<img src="https://serpwatch.io/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/import_csv.gif" width=80%/>
Improvements:
- Unfortunately there are costs associated with running a global network of aggregators. Each request has a cost so if you check hourly (24 times daily) this multiplies costs by 24.
- keyword suggest is here
<img src="https://serpwatch.io/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/suggest.gif" width=80%/>
- notifications system explanation is here
<iframe width="80%" height="400px" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/0M3fKEFyvrQ" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>
<a href="https://help.serpwatch.io/docs/features/search-intelligence-hub/notifications-set-up/">Documentation for notifications is you'd here</a> if you'd like to deep dive.
- sorting: Thanks this is a bug, sent to devs they will add back in 5, 50, 100 and all. FYI there is a search feature at the top to fast find your keyword.
Hope that helps!

A Bright Future – Fully Stacked
Was pleasantly surprised with SerpWatch, they have a pretty solid set of features already along with a bold roadmap.
Definitely worth checking out if you're an SEO or provide any kind of SEO services but are working within a tight budget.
If they can live up to what they claim is in development this will be an unbelievable deal.

Seems perfect for Keyword Tracking
Keyword tracking tools are becoming more and more expensive these days. SerpWatch was super easy to set up - seems perfect for keyword tracking.
Dashboard seems to include everything you need for this task.
Thank you for great offer,
