A: Hi Ian! Yes, you can set time-limited access to courses in the course settings. There should be an option to define access duration, such as a couple of months or two weeks. This way, after the specified period, the user will no longer have access to the course.
Hello, I often invite participants in my courses to leave a comment below the lesson to engage in a discussion with the other participants. Is there a comment function in Seturon that I can use for this? David
A: Hi David! Currently, there isn't a built-in comment function in Seturon for discussions below each lesson. However, we may integrate systems with social interaction features in the future - thanks for flagging this!
Yes! Once you log in to our platform, on the main dashboard, there are courses about Seturon’s functionality, created using our own LMS. We regularly update them with new templates and are also working on guides and documentation to help you navigate the platform. Stay tuned - more resources are coming soon!
in your advertisement it says "Use your custom domain to foster more trust with your students" can you give me an example of a custom domain? You can't use yours from your own website?
A: Hi! A custom domain is a web address that belongs to you or your organization, rather than using the default domain provided by the platform. For example, instead of using https://app.seturon.io/ as the base domain you could use https://yourdomain.com/
We have an option that lets you set up a CNAME (Custom Name) to point your domain to the platform. This feature is currently a paid add-on, but discussions are underway with AppSumo to include it in a new pricing tier.
Q: Timed access to courses
Is it possible to give timed access to users, such as a couple of months or only two weeks, to certain courses?
