Q: First of all I want to say that Sitejet, unlike some other deals, is a very mature and established product.
In fact, it's what I used to create my agency website that is live till this day.
That said, I did have to move away from the tool because at the time the CONTACT FORM only worked (sending) if HOSTED on the Sitejet platform. When you EXPORTED the website to host on your own hosting, the contact form unfortunately would stop working.
thank you for your kind words! š Happy to see a fellow Sitejetter here š
Regarding your question about the contact form and its functionality: In order for the form to work as it does in Sitejet, you need a backend and features like email functionality. When you export a site, you will get all the files and the code from the website. Unfortunately, this code does not include our backend...so you will need to add a contact form to the site once you exported it.
Hope that makes sense and that it explains the issue š

I'm considering using Sitejet again in combination with Plesk VPS (Ubuntu) that comes with all the "backend" (mail, php, etc.) preinstalled and activated.
Will the contact form work in that case with a simple upload of the previously exported files? Or is further coding required?
I really would like to make this work in the simplest form possible. :)
Well, I may see a case for concern regarding this: when a client commissions you to build their website, they typically expect to own the final product in the form of the website files themselves, including the right to the images used, written content, etc. This would also include their website's forms.
How do you now start explaining to a client that they will 'need' to host with SiteJet, which was previously just part of your hidden 'white-label' toolbox, in order for their web forms to work without any modifications or coding? The client will then ask you, "Wait, who is SiteJet, and what does any of this have to do with our website forms?"
It may even feel like the designer has intentionally crippled a client's website perhaps in spite when no foul play was ever intentionally intended!
Generally designers don't enter a client relationship with the expectation that they will leave, the client will (rightfully) expect everything you develop for them to work wherever they host things, including whatever forms their site has. So, for web designers using SiteJet, such a thing would/should be (considered as) a routine and straight-forward affair.
Perhaps some sort form export kit might be useful for SiteJet developers to have to help transition their clients out of the platform so they don't struggle with a partially-working website. Else, the designer might end up working double to help their clients fix what they would understandably see as a broken site. I'm just slightly surprised that such a function-related issue has not come up with your own agency before, but hey, maybe you're just a whole lot better at client-retention! š¤£
thank you for sharing your inputš Actually, this is not a scenario that someone shared with us before or that we have encountered with our website clients so far. Our users are happy using the export as it is or explain to their customers that Sitejet offers a great platform to host their website themselves and speak to them about transferring their website into an independent account - which will also ensure ownership of their website.
Nevertheless, I will make sure to talk to the team about this scenario! Thanks again š

About POP: Yes, you can also set up emails as POP3. However, we do recommend using IMAP as POP saves emails locally on your device will IMAP allows you to check our emails from different devices. Q: Hi Site-Jet team
Long time user and fan here, since your first AS launch a couple of years ago.
Please excuse me if these questions have been asked before:
1. Can I stack your new offer on top of my previous AS purchase? 2. I have upgraded my previous AS purchase to add additional sites. Can I migrate those sites from the annual license onto this new LTD code purchase?
1. You can only use one license per account, so it's not possible to stack codes with this deal. 2. As mentioned in the terms of this deal it's only available for new users and cannot be combined with existing accounts.
In the Agency plan, you have: - more included users - more included websites - once you exceed the included websites, you pay less per additional website in comparison to the other two plans - the Collections API
Can i use team plan for clients as a sub-account? So License Tier 3 offers 15 hosted websites, Does it mean I can use it for 15 of my clients and charge them?
No, the team plan does not include the Collections API. You can find the documentation for the Collections API here: https://api.sitejet.io/api/doc/
You can create as many projects in Sitejet as you like. If you want to publish those websites with Sitejet, you will have 15 hosted websites included in Appsumo's LTD when choosing Tier 3. If you want to host more websites with Sitejet you can do this for additional costs - $96/yr. per site (Tier 2ā3). Your clients have access to their own customer portal where they can add and manage emails, add wishes and requirements for the website, add and manage files, add feedback, edit their website, and check out the form entries from their website.
Hope that helps! š
Q: I understand that Sitejet has the ability to import assets and text from external websites on the web, but ...
more importantly, can Sitejet upload or import websites locally from my PC? If I exported a website made in Sitejet, could I re-import those same files? (Assuming I deleted it from my project previously?)
Or if I designed a website in my code editor outside of Sitejet, would you platform be able to import those HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files?
As you already mentioned, we have an import tool that copies content from one website to your Sitejet website. Also, you can import Collections with a CSV file and you can add files to the code editor for CSS, HTML, and JS.
I highly recommend using our free 14-days trial to check out if this fits your needs: https://partner.sitejet.io/register
I am looking for a SaaS based html page design solution whereby I use pre-built templates and/or designs from other websites⦠and be able to download the code on my self-hosted website.
Can I use Site-jet for my webpage design as a Saas tool?
Sitejet does have templates and pre-built website sections that you can use. Once you are happy with a website you can export it. You will get a ZIP file with all images, files, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript for the website.
If you want to buy templates from another provider and use it within Sitejet, that's currently not possible. All websites must be created in Sitejet. What you can do is use our Import tool to import content from an already existing website.
I hope I understood you correctly here - if not, please reply to this post.
Btw. I highly recommend using our free 14-days trial to check out Sitejet, its templates and pre-build website sections (presets) to see if it matches your needs. Feel free to register at: https://partner.sitejet.io/register š
thanks for reaching out! Your vote is noted. We do want to add more locations, but I cannot give you an ETA for this at the moment. Hopefully, I can say more about this once the US-based servers are up and running.
Wondered if there are any plans to improve and update the existing templates? The platform is fantastic, my only current minor bugbear is that the templates are a little outdated and clunky ā would love to see more Webflow level templates in future :)
Yes, we do publish new templates in the future. If you have inspirations for templates that you would like to see, feel free to share them in our community: https://community.sitejet.io/t/what-kind-of-templates-would-you-like-to-see-next/470/3
Q: FAQ on your site mentions ā Any paid plan includes 1 published website.
Additional websites in your account can be published at attractive rates that include e-mail, SSL encryption, CDN & DDoS protection. For details, please refer to the hosting section of our pricing pageā¦.ā
and
ā IF YOU DECIDE to host with us, your websites are hosted on our powerful GDPR-compliant serverā¦ā
If I have bought this deal, havenāt I already decided to host my site with you and what do you mean by ā1ā published website ? I am slightly confused here . I will make it simple for you to answer this one : I plan to buy tier 2 . Will only one of the 5 sites be hosted by you or hosting will be available on all the 5 sites included in tier 2 . Do I have to pay additionally for hosting any of these 5 sites or all the 5 website hosting is covered under this deal ?
And lastly , Which CDN do you use and does it have a point of presence in India or nearby like Singapore ?
This specific pricing info from our FAQs on our website is referring to our usual pricing. If you buy a license through Appsumo the terms and conditions listed above will apply for you. So, with Tier 2 the website hosting for 5 websites is included in the deal. Additional costs for website hosting will only apply if you exceed the number of included hosted websites.
We are using our own CDN which is located in the EU, but we are currently improving worldwide CDN, starting with servers in the US/Canada. The launch for the US-based servers is planned for September. More locations will probably follow afterward.
Just one thing though : I understand you have your server in EU and coming up in USA as well. But that's server location. I wanted to know about points of presence you have in your CDN delivery system .
As an example, you can see cloudflare's CDN POPs on the following link : https://www.cloudflare.com/en-in/network/. It is usually a long list. Could you please consult your team and clarify about this list of POPs for CDN used by websites hosted with sitejet ?
thanks for getting back to me. The answer is the same - we are currently expanding our POPs from the EU to other locations, starting with the US/Canada.
At the moment, it's not possible to add your own CDN to Sitejet.
Hope that helpsš
Q: I see this has been asked before and there was no Answer.
"Are we able to secure our email hosted by Sitejet with SPF + DKIM + DMARC?"
Also if I bought the top package before, can I purchase more codes and stack on top of this now?
At the moment, DKIM signing is not on our roadmap. We will add it to our feature request list and we recommend posting it in our community to share it with other users and give them the chance to upvote the feature: https://community.sitejet.io/c/feature-requests/8
Hope that helpsš
Q: 1) This is an elementary question , but I just want to be clear .
Things like social proof and chat widgets require us to add a script on pages , either page wise or site wide ? Can this be done on the sites built with sitejet ?
2) Do you have integration with google tag manager ?
1. You can add custom code either on single pages or for all pages. More on this can be found here: https://help.sitejet.io/article/440-use-custom-html-css-and-javascript-code
2. You can add the Google Tag Manager as described here: https://help.sitejet.io/article/440-use-custom-html-css-and-javascript-code#tracking-code
Q: Planning to buy sitejet deal during exclusive plus member offering.
A few questions :
1) What is meant by "White-label tools (branding & domain)" mentioned from tier 2 onwards. Is it that tier 1 will have sitejet branding and we can't map our own domain ?? Or is it something else altogether ?
2) I reckon hosting is included in this deal. Just wanted to know about any bandwidth limits (although I am not looking at massive / spammy traffic, it's always good to know).
3) Where will the sites be hosted (location) and if they will have CDN activated on it ? If yes, could you please let us know which CDN you use in particular and/or the POPs on the same ?
4) Can the sites have blogging functionality ? It's very important for SEO.
5) Will I miss anything if I move my sites which are hosted on wordpress right now to sitejet ? Prima facie, I love sitejet and this deal in particular. But before making such a major transition, just want to be sure that I am majorly covered in all departments and the transition from wordpress will be smooth. Please try to be as candid in answering this one as possible.
1. Yes, whitelabel starts at Tier 2 and will allow you to add your own logo and highlight colors for the project management and customer portal view. You will also be able to use a custom domain which means that you can log into Sitejet with partner.yourdomain.com instead of partner.sitejet.io - same applies to the customer portal which will be my.yourdomain.com instead of my.sitejet.io. So no sign of Sitejet is visible for your customers.
2. Yes, website and email hosting are included as well as SSL. There is no limit in bandwidth.
3. At the moment, all websites are hosted on our EU-based servers, but we are almost ready to launch our US-based servers. We also use our own CDN servers.
4. Yes, you can add Collections like blogs to all your Sitejet websites.
5. You can create websites and blogs with Sitejet, add eCommerce as well as host with Sitejet. If something is not integrated natively you have the possibility to add third-party tools by adding custom code as explained here: https://help.sitejet.io/article/440-use-custom-html-css-and-javascript-code We recommend using our free 14-days trial to check out Sitejet's features and if everything matches your needs: https://partner.sitejet.io/register
our CDN is currently located in the EU, but we are currently improving worldwide CDN, starting with servers in the US/Canada. The launch for the US-based servers is planned for September.
Hope that helpsš
Q: Do you have a feature to automatically submit the updated sitemap of the sites to search engines on a regular basis ?
Sitejet automatically creates the sitemaps for your websites, which makes it easy for search engines to crawl a website and find all the pages and their priorities. The sitemap will be updated automatically when you make changes to the website which then will be crawled by the search engine.
You can access the sitemap of a website as explained here: https://help.sitejet.io/article/443-seo-with-sitejet#sitemap - you can use this to make changes and/or submit the sitemap to the search engine of your choice.
That was a big concern for me . You have replied satisfactorily to all my concerns . Seems like you people have no left no crucial aspect of site building and hosting unaddressed . This is just awesome . Take a bow, sitejet team . What a product !
Q: If I add a template or blank page first and give the customer full access rights to the website builder, is ...
the customer able to create more than one page of the website or just one page that I have added, and does the customer have access to all themes and templates of the site builder if I grant him full access.
your customers can add as many subpages to a websites as they like, but they can only work one website with their customer portal access. They will have access to our presets (pre-built sections), but they cannot change or select website templates.
Happy to hear that a higher Tier seems to be the right fit for you! š You can upgrade your plan in your Appsumo Account under "My products". The upgrade will automatically be applied to your Sitejet account.

I would like to point you to the statement our founder Hendrik gave to the community:
"The transition will not have any influence on your contracts. They will stay the same - no matter how you became a part of the Sitejet community. This also includes the Appsumo users and their deals. Not only Sitejet services, but also the team including Malte and I - two of the founders - transition to WebPros ensuring that we will keep on growing and improving Sitejet."

Hope that helps.

Q: I see you integrate well with ecwid.
If we are an agency and work with ecwid as a referral affiliate or partner, how would we handle that within sitejet?

May 15, 2024A: Hey Sumo_Me,
That is a great question - would you be able to send us this through one of our support channels (mail@sitejet.io) or the community.sitejet.io ? Happy to help you on this matter.
Best Regards,

Q: Hi!
If a client needs more than 25 Gigs of email storage in his domain, what will be the extra cost ?
Do you have a pricing table?
Can emails be setup as POP?
Thanks
Franzi_Sitejet
May 14, 2024A: Hi david151,
thanks for reaching out.
I do not have the pricing available at the moment, but I forwarded it and will get back to you with an answer asap.
About POP: Yes, you can also set up emails as POP3. However, we do recommend using IMAP as POP saves emails locally on your device will IMAP allows you to check our emails from different devices. Here is a helpful article about setting up Sitejet email addresses with external clients: https://help.sitejet.io/article/398-send-and-receive-emails-with-sitejet#external-tool
Hope that helps for now - I will come back to you with a reply to your first questionš

Hi david151,
thanks for your patience. You can upgrade email storage for $2,99/month per domain for 25 GB.
Hope that helps!š
Q: Hello, I am interested in purchasing your tier 2 plan - if I want to upgrade to a higher tier, how long do I have to do so?
Franzi_Sitejet
May 15, 2024A: Hi sumo_me,
thanks for reaching out. You can upgrade your Tier as long as this deal is still available. š

Q: Hi Site-Jet team Long time user and fan here, since your first AS launch a couple of years ago.
Please excuse me if these questions have been asked before:
1. Can I stack your new offer on top of my previous AS purchase?
2. I have upgraded my previous AS purchase to add additional sites. Can I migrate those sites from the annual license onto this new LTD code purchase?
Franzi_Sitejet
May 15, 2024A: Hi SP1K3Y,
welcome back š
About your questions:
1. You can only use one license per account, so it's not possible to stack codes with this deal.
2. As mentioned in the terms of this deal it's only available for new users and cannot be combined with existing accounts.
Hope that helpsš

Q: What are the features differences between Team & Agency Plan?
Franzi_Sitejet
May 14, 2024A: Hi amitabh,
thank you for reaching out with your question.
In the Agency plan, you have:
- more included users
- more included websites
- once you exceed the included websites, you pay less per additional website in comparison to the other two plans
- the Collections API
Hope that helpsš
Share Sitejet
Thanks Franzi.
So team plan does not include - the Collections API? is there a documentation for this?
Can i use team plan for clients as a sub-account?
So License Tier 3 offers 15 hosted websites, Does it mean I can use it for 15 of my clients and charge them?
Thanks for getting back to me, amitabh.
Thank you!
Franzi_Sitejet
May 15, 2024A: Hi muygalan,
thanks for reaching out š
As you already mentioned, we have an import tool that copies content from one website to your Sitejet website. Also, you can import Collections with a CSV file and you can add files to the code editor for CSS, HTML, and JS.
I highly recommend using our free 14-days trial to check out if this fits your needs: https://partner.sitejet.io/register

Q: I am not a coder/ designer.
I am looking for a SaaS based html page design solution whereby I use pre-built templates and/or designs from other websites⦠and be able to download the code on my self-hosted website.
Can I use Site-jet for my webpage design as a Saas tool?
Franzi_Sitejet
May 15, 2024A: Hi dailystore,
thanks for reaching out.

Q: Just adding my vote for an Australian server, itās vital for us down-under to serve our clients with fast and responsive sites.
Can I ask, is this on the roadmap? Happy to stack to Tier 5, but this is something I want some certainty around, if at all possible. Thanks guys!
Franzi_Sitejet
May 15, 2024A: Hi Rusty_Herb_Clippers,
thanks for reaching out! Your vote is noted. We do want to add more locations, but I cannot give you an ETA for this at the moment. Hopefully, I can say more about this once the US-based servers are up and running.
Hope that helps!

Q: Just upped my tier to level 5!
Wondered if there are any plans to improve and update the existing templates? The platform is fantastic, my only current minor bugbear is that the templates are a little outdated and clunky ā would love to see more Webflow level templates in future :)
Franzi_Sitejet
May 15, 2024A: Hi Sumo-ling,
happy to hear that Tier 5 is the right fit for you š¤©

Franzi_Sitejet
May 14, 2024A: Hi AyushmanSethi,
happy to answer your questions.
Hope that helpsš

Thanks for the answers, Franzi.
And just in case you don't have CDN according to my needs, can I use my own CDN like bunny.net , etc on my site hosted with sitejet ?
Hi AyushmanSethi,
thanks for getting back to me.
Franzi_Sitejet
May 14, 2024A: Hi nhaque,
happy to answer your questions:
1. SPF and DMARC entries can be added, but DKIM signing is currently not applied on our mail infastructure
2. Stacking the deal is not possible. You can only use one license per account.
Hope that helpsš

When will you have DKIM? This is an important feature.
It helps to prevent scammers and most decent email marketing software need this.
Hi nhaque,
thanks for getting back to me.
At the moment, DKIM signing is not on our roadmap. We will add it to our feature request list and we recommend posting it in our community to share it with other users and give them the chance to upvote the feature: https://community.sitejet.io/c/feature-requests/8

Q: 1) This is an elementary question , but I just want to be clear .
Things like social proof and chat widgets require us to add a script on pages , either page wise or site wide ? Can this be done on the sites built with sitejet ?
2) Do you have integration with google tag manager ?
Franzi_Sitejet
May 15, 2024A: Hi AyushmanSethi,

Franzi_Sitejet
May 14, 2024A: Hi CuddlyWuddly,
happy to answer your questions:
If something is not integrated natively you have the possibility to add third-party tools by adding custom code as explained here: https://help.sitejet.io/article/440-use-custom-html-css-and-javascript-code
We recommend using our free 14-days trial to check out Sitejet's features and if everything matches your needs: https://partner.sitejet.io/register

Q: Do you have a feature to automatically submit the updated sitemap of the sites to search engines on a regular basis ?
Franzi_Sitejet
May 14, 2024A: Hi fastandcurious,
thanks for reaching out with your question.
Hope that helpsš

Q: If I add a template or blank page first and give the customer full access rights to the website builder, is ...
the customer able to create more than one page of the website or just one page that I have added, and does the customer have access to all themes and templates of the site builder if I grant him full access.

May 15, 2024A: Hi sumo-fan,
