Q: IMAP vs Gmail Training | LLM for included credits | Rest API future plans
Hi Victoria,
Welcome back to Sumo. Could you please help me with the following:
1)IMAP vs Gmail
Is there a meaningful difference in training ability/length of time between IMAP accounts and Gmail. I have a mix of both. Is IMAP trickier to train?
2)Could you confirm what LLM you are using for the included Ai credits and whether this is likely to update this year?
3)Beyond Shopify/WooCommerce, do you currently support — or plan to support — pulling data from a custom REST API (e.g. Supabase) at reply-time, so AI replies can be enriched with any structured data source, not just eCommerce platforms? If so would this only be included on T5?
4)Is inbound webhook support firmly on the roadmap — where an external system pushes context into Snoooz before a reply is generated — giving users control over what data enriches email responses?

Thanks for your questions.
1. IMAP vs Gmail
There’s no meaningful difference in training between IMAP and Gmail accounts. Snoooz learns automatically from your draft edits and replies regardless of mailbox type. You can also train it using your website, docs, and other knowledge sources, which can be shared across both Gmail and IMAP accounts.
2. Included AI Credits / LLMs
We regularly update our AI stack as models improve. Currently, we use a mix of Gemini Pro and Gemini Flash for different operations within the platform.
3. Custom REST API Integrations
We support a wide range of integrations, though our AppSumo offering currently focuses on eCommerce platforms. Custom database/API integrations (e.g. Supabase) are possible—please submit a feature request and we'd be happy to review your use case.

4. Inbound Webhooks
That's a great suggestion. Inbound webhooks aren't currently supported, but please add it as a feature request and I'll discuss it with the team to see how we can best support this type of workflow.
Best regards,
Victoria
