MidwestPTQ: Healthcare with hipaa question
Hello,
I have forms that require a digital e-signature.
Before I pursue this deal with several codes, a few questions:
1) You guys will sign a BAA with the healthcare company, correct?
2) If consent forms, hipaa agreements, patient intake, etc needs to be signed off on by the patient, I can create them in suitedash with these codes?
3) Building on question 2, can I send these to the patient with esignature on the bottom?
4) Building on question 3, do they need to login for this to occur, or can the documents be sent to them to allow for it to be signed electronically by them on their device?
5) The current deal allows us to create forms within suitedash and then send, though if I have pdfs that I need to add a signature box to for a patient to sign that requires a powerup that is a monthly recurring cost, correct?

Yes, we will sign our standard BAA with you.
**2) Building HIPAA forms, consent, intake in SuiteDash**
Yes. Forms are built into every plan. You can build patient intake, consent agreements, and HIPAA authorization forms using Documents, with the field types and Conditional Logic to structure them the way your practice needs.
**3) Send to patients with an eSignature at the bottom**
Yes, and yes with the codes you're looking at. Two tools cover this depending on the document type.
For agreements built inside SuiteDash, like a consent form or treatment agreement, that's a Document with Digital eSigning. You build a Document Generator, toggle Enable Document for Digital Signature on, and require the signature from the Client. Included on all plans.
For an existing PDF you already have, like a state-required consent form, that's PDF Signing. You upload the PDF, drop signature fields onto it, and send it out, with a full Audit Trail and the signer's IP address attached to the signed copy.
**4) Does the patient need to log in?**
They don't have to, but that is not the default behavior. Signing without login is a setting you enable yourself under Office Settings, Documents tab, Security Settings, based on your own compliance requirements. Once enabled, it generates a direct link you can send by email or text and the patient signs without creating a Portal account.
Worth knowing going in: enabling that setting may weaken your HIPAA compliance stance, which is why it's off by default and left in your hands to turn on deliberately. We are not legal counsel so that is for you to decide - we give you the options.
**5) PDF Signing requiring a monthly cost**
Correcting my earlier answer here. Since early 2026 we added PDF Signing by default to accounts on the Pinnacle plan, so you do not need the PRIME Bundle Power-Up for this. You get PDF Signing included.

Thanks Mike! One last question: Can I run four separately branded booking pages (different domains/names) for four different business lines under one SuiteDash account? And can this be embedded into WordPress in an iframe so users only touch suitedash?
