minimalistfatherQ: Demo doesn't work?

I want to try a demo out and signed up via the site to give it a quick try, but when I link to a 5 minute video to see what Taja can do, it just stays on 'Initializing' and I gave up after 45 minutes.
I am really keen to try it before I buy.
Ok, I got past that stage now, but says I got to pay to get the shorts? Do you not have a free demo? I just want to link to a video, get the shorts and see how it does.
