Taja V2.0 :)

I have been using Taja for the past month, and honestly, the tool is excellent. It is one of the best deals I have found on AppSumo.

There are many positive things about the platform, but in this feedback I want to focus mainly on possible improvements that could make the tool much better for content creators.

1. Default channel groups

It is great that we can add multiple YouTube channels. This is very important for content creators who manage more than one brand or channel.

However, every time I want to publish a video or a short, I need to choose from a long list of connected accounts, including YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Threads, and others. When there are many accounts connected, this becomes confusing and time-consuming.

A good solution would be to create default channel groups in the settings.

For example:

Channel 1 / Brand 1:
YouTube channel
TikTok account
Instagram account
Facebook page
Threads account

Then, when publishing, I can simply choose “Channel 1” and all related accounts are selected automatically.
if i dont want that then i can manually chang it

2. Better calendar filters

The calendar needs more filtering options. Right now, it is hard to know what video is scheduled for tomorrow, what was already published, and which platform it belongs to.

It would be very useful to filter the calendar by:

YouTube channel Number 1 or 6
or Brand

and sure Content type
Long video
Shorts
Reels
Published / scheduled / draft status

This would make planning much easier.

3. Text posts for Facebook and X

It would be great to have the option to publish text posts not only on LinkedIn, but also on Facebook and X / Twitter.

For many creators, Facebook and X are more important than LinkedIn, depending on the niche.

4. Smart scheduling for reels and shorts

A smart option that suggests the best posting times for reels and shorts would be an amazing addition.

For example, if I create 10 reels from one long video, the system could automatically suggest a publishing schedule and spread them across the next days or weeks without manual work.

This would save a lot of time.

5. Better organization per channel

It would be better if each channel or brand had its own default folder.

Also, video numbering would be very helpful.

For example: Channel 7

Video 001 Video posted
Video 002 video Ready to post
Video 003 ..

7.It would also be useful to see statistics like:

How many shorts/reels were created from each long video
How many were published
Which videos still have too few shorts created from them

8.Suggestions to create more shorts from older videos that i forget to creat shorts for them

This would help creators repurpose content better.

9. Brand kit improvements

The brand kit needs more improvement. Many times, the channel logo does not appear correctly in the shorts.

The logo, colors, fonts, and branding should be applied more consistently across all videos and shorts.

10. Arabic subtitles need serious improvement

English subtitles are excellent, but Arabic subtitles are currently very poor.

This is one of the most important things to improve, especially for creators who work with Arabic content.

Better Arabic subtitle accuracy, punctuation, and formatting would make the tool much more useful for Arabic creators.

Overall, Taja is a very strong tool and I am happy with the purchase. With these improvements, it could become one of the best content automation tools for YouTube creators.

nice, but needs a lot of improvement

Taja has great potential, but changes are coming too slowly. Advantages:
+ Integration with YouTube (and Facebook, IG, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Therads) with automatic content publishing (including calendar scheduling)
+ Automatic generation of shorts, clips, blogs, and posts on LinkedIn/X/Threads
+ Thumbnail generator for YouTube
+ Title, description, tag, and transcript generator for videos
+ Editor for clips and shorts (ability to disable and enable various elements)

Disadvantages:
- Poor UX/UI (e.g., when editing shorts, you have to save the file after making changes (the save button is at the top, not the bottom) and then render the video – and that button is gone, you have to go up a level and click "publish" – completely unintuitive)
- Inability to edit subtitles (Taja's system often mistranslates the narrator, and this cannot be corrected)
- Inability to crop shorts – the system simply cuts out the middle of the video. - Bugs in creating subtitles for shorts - after rendering, subtitles flash instantly (this was recently fixed, but there are still some issues).
- Automatic scheduled uploads usually work well for shorts; they sometimes freeze for full videos.
- Calendar layout - currently, you have no information (either by color, icon, or video duration) about which elements are scheduled for a specific day. Shorts get mixed up with full videos; if one hasn't uploaded, it's not visible in the calendar.
- Scheduled release times are AM/PM, which is irritating for most Europeans.
- The biggest drawback: very slow implementation of changes. I waited 60 days before requesting a refund because I thought the changes would be implemented quickly.

Overall, this is an app with great potential, but the scale of the bugs, combined with the slow implementation of fixes, makes it difficult to use in its current form.

Too many bugs and no usable output

The idea is great and when a video actually makes it through processing (rare) the promised output looks good but scheduling didn't work, the rendered shorts did not look like the preview, and 90+% of the time the tool is stuck in the processing or rendering wheel of doom. I wanted to love this tool and wasted too much time trying to get it working as a result, but have now decided to cut my losses and refund both codes, especially as communication about the issues seems poor. If it comes back to appsumo again I might give it another try

Wanted to Love It, But the Core Feature Failed Repeatedly

I really wanted Taja to work.

I purchased it specifically to turn long-form YouTube videos into short-form clips and automate posting across multiple social platforms. On paper, it checked all the boxes and seemed like a great fit for my workflow.

Unfortunately, my experience was very different.

The biggest issue was clip generation. Long-form videos, including videos over an hour long, would typically generate only around 10 clips. When I tried to generate additional clips from the same content, the regeneration feature didn’t work. I even re-uploaded an existing YouTube video hoping to create more clips, but it generated no clips at all.

Things became even more frustrating when videos remained stuck in the clip-generation process for multiple days without completing.

Technical issues can happen with any platform, and I understand that. What ultimately pushed me to request a refund was the lack of support. I reported the issues, followed up, and even had AppSumo escalate the matter. Despite that, I never received a meaningful response or solution.

To be fair, I do think Taja has potential. The automated social media posting features are convenient, and the overall concept is exactly what many creators are looking for. However, for a tool centered around generating clips, the clip-generation workflow needs to be reliable.

I genuinely hope the team resolves these issues because the idea behind the product is solid. In its current state, though, it wasn’t dependable enough for my needs, and I ultimately requested a refund.

Love the tool overall - the only issue is the download.

Love the tool and the Shorts output.

As I mentioned in my email when I contacted Ibrahim, the CEO of Taja, the video looks good inside the platform when I download a Short with subtitles.

But after downloading and playing it, the subtitles are not centered. They appear on the left side, so the final video doesn’t look right.

Could you let me know if this is an issue your team is currently working on, and when I can expect a solution?

Thanks
