I'm 58 and retired (not tired, just retired), and I recently started a YouTube channel! I discovered TAJA software, which allows me to share my experiences.

What I Love:
There's a reason TAJA has earned all those TACOs - it's impressive across the board! I especially appreciate how they continuously improve the platform. The thumbnail generator is incredible. While it may not be the best in the market, the unlimited generation feature (depending on your package) offers unbeatable value.
The software's analytics capabilities are potent. Based on your previous performance, it helps you find the optimal video duration for maximum viewer retention. It can even analyze the differences between your best and worst-performing videos, providing valuable insights.

Areas for Improvement:
The software doesn't create videos, which would be a fantastic future addition. Also, while they provide video instructions, understanding the software's full capabilities was initially challenging. Let me share an example: I initially deleted a pre-populated account from a popular YouTuber, not realizing it was there to help users monitor their video strategies and learn from their content concepts. Once I understood this feature, it was a real game-changer.
I'm still learning how to effectively select thumbnails for short-form videos - mastering this will be a game-changer for my channel.
Additionally, I'd love to see improvements in the video format conversion process. Specifically, when converting long-form 16:9 videos to short-form 9:16, having more control over what content remains visible in the frame would be helpful.

Perhaps this feature exists, and I haven't discovered it yet in my workflow.
Despite these minor challenges, I'm thoroughly satisfied with TAJA and excited to continue exploring its capabilities as I grow my YouTube channel.

FEAR NOT!!!! This is a solid purchase

I tried a Tier 1 purchase of Taja last November because I hoped it might help save some time with something I've always had trouble with--crafting good, SEO-optimized descriptions and thumbnails for my videos. I discovered Taja does this admirably (including chapters)! That, in addition to the ability to review/optimize my old videos, suggest new videos, and generate shorts showed me how powerful Taja could be. It's not perfect, some features need some "percolation time" to evolve, but I was pleased enough with the product to go back and purchase additional tiers for unlimited videos--the only AppSumo product I have done this for.

This was one of the absolute best purchases on AppSumo. It not only saves me a ton of time but the Taja team continues to add more functionality and features. Highly recommended.

Fun FACT, your dashboard helps me see and keep track of all of my channels (even the one i forgot about)

This app handles everything after video production, minus scheduling. With this app, the only thing you need to worry about is just making the video and scheduling it. The process for uploading and providing all the metadata (title, description, tags), accounting for SEO, is completely handled. The thumbnails with text are impressive.

Now, if only they did scheduling too, then it would REALLY automate YouTube and we could just concentrate on production quality. 😉

But I feel the team member limit is too small. Also, each team member should have private access to their account so they can manage their own work.

Been using it for a few months, it's decent.
Many improvements have been made since the first campaign.

I thought this was just a long to short conversion tool. However, i was blown away by the optimisation feature of Taja to help my videos get more views.

I love:
-the chapters taja create, save lots of time
-great suggestions on titles and descriptions, as well as tags
-very intuitive interface
-speed of the platform
-their roadmap

I bought tier 4, so committed for life with Taja. What i love is the fact that this morning i jumped on zoom with the founder to share with him my suggestions for improvements. Taja wants to be better and wants to listen to feedbacks. How amazing is that. This means Taja will only get better and better and I am excited.

I share my life, very candidly, with cockatoos and go through phases of burnout having been on Instagram and Youtube since 2011. Taja has lifted some of that burnout by making it easier to find the words for my silly bird clips without even needing to thoroughly describe the video as I was having to do with plain ol' ChatGpt or Claude.
The thumbnail generation could use some improvements (or maybe isn't working very well with silly random cute clips), but the winning x10 value for me is in the time spent coming up with a catchy on-brand Youtube title and description. The shorts generation is pretty awesome, and it's nice to just be able to automate that part, too.
I bought this deal several months ago, found it a bit too glitchy for my very limited time but was fascinated by the potential, and now that it's working I am able to start 2025 off with a more efficient workflow that saves me so much MORE time. It truly is a one stop shop. I don't have any suggestions that others have not added, and again, it saves me so much time and brain power just by describing what my cute birds are doing in the clips...
I am glad I held on to this, because Taja is definitely a gem!

I bought Taja a year back and refunded as it was too basic and had a few bugs.

Fast forward to now and Taja has come a long way, its constantly updated and now has an intuitive keyword research engine, long form video into short form clips repurposing and other content, better ainhenerayed thumbnails, faster processing and loads of other little goodies.

There are some areas for improvement. Here are my suggestions:

- Be able to upload an image and the ai can take that image and add it to the thumbnail. Better for those who don't want to share there face.
- keyword research is good but can always be improved on. Maybe find more relevant keywords or videos.
- B-rolls could be better, maybe change duration of them, be able to add your own b-rolls too.
- Be able to choose AI image models for the youtube thumbnails.
- Be able to choose from different AI models to generate content for better output.

Can't think of anything more at this time but the roadmap looks good and I look forward to more updates.

This may be the best deal on AppSumo. It's without a doubt the one I use the most. I can't say enough good things about this product and it's creator.

Ibrahim is incredibly responsive to direct feedback, and it's been a joy to watch this tool grow from a very basic, almost crude beginning to a more full-featured, well thought-out workhorse. I'm a podcaster with over 400 back episodes in need of optimization and exploitation. After trying several other tools concurrently, this is the only one I continue to use.

The auto-generated shorts are going to be a lifesaver for me when I have a couple hours to sit down, pound them out, and schedule them. I have another tool I use SPECIFICALLY for this, but Taja includes it and the value is incredible. Backlog Boost is one of those simple "so-called features" that I initially thumbed my nose at - but psychologically it is a simple yet clever way to push myself to optimize my back catalog, bit by bit, as I have time. And once the feature to give more nuanced instruction to the AI was unlocked, my descriptions improved 100-fold and began to save me SO MUCH TIME cleaning up and adding to what the Taja was initially giving me.

With the new automation features recently added, I'm over the moon happy. I just can't say enough good things about this product. Now, I suspect some of you might jump in, have a look at the simplicity of the interface, and be a little skeptical, just as I was at the beginning. My suggestion is to just dive in and give it a whirl. Peruse the tutorial vids on Ibrahim's EXCELLENT YouTube support channel for explanation on some features that may not be readily apparent.

My main interest in Taja was the thumbnail generator. I need to produce youtube thumbnails with a consistent style and was impressed that the tool extracts headshots of any main presenters automatically. Unfortunately, there are very limited options for editing or regenerating the headshots and the AI generated background. Please consider adding these extra options and I will definitely max out.

I've been using Taja for the last few days and I can tell you I've only scratched the surface with what this can do. I almost hit the refund because I thought I had other tools that would do the job. I'M SO GLAD I DIDN'T! The titles descriptions and keywords that this tool generates saves me so much time!

I can't say enough good things about this product. I bought it the first time it came out a year ago, Dec 27, 2023, and since that time, they have improved 1000+. There's always a new surprize that makes my work load a lot easier. Thanks for your great customer service!! Maria

These types of new AI companies can always been a hit or miss ordeal. Taja is not that. Support is extremely responsive, kind, and helpful. The content is editable and the ease of use is incredible. There are a few features I'd like (a second tik tok/X) but honestly? But these are wants not needs. The AI is incredible... in-fact, I even got creeped out at one point because it suggested the name of a person I discussed (but never named for legal reasons) as a tag... I was in shock and awe. This app is a 10000/10 for me, and I am NOT easy to impress after 10 years in creative digital media.

Love this tool and it’s one of the only tools I actually use. The AI generated thumbnails are amazing. The founder is nice and replies. I got the highest limits. This is a must have tool. I love it!

This tool. I don't even know where to begin. The concept is amazing, the execution is absolutely terrible. Half of the tools do not work, if feels like a half-baked early beta product. When I hit refresh I lose whatever I had. If things change, I'll gladly update my review. But as of right now, they don't seem to be spending their R&D money to fix some core problems that keep this from being the great tool it could be.

I took one of my blah 5 minute YouTube videos and uploaded it in the machine and magic happened.

Told me that my title sucked and here is a better one, then said we can do better with your thumbnail and spun up three kick your butt amazing ones, and allowed me to upload my face into the AI generated thumbnail. . . buhrillant.

Then said, lets get you more juice and made me three shorts, and then said, lets pump them out to other social media channels.

This tool is amazing!

For repurposing it has a lot going on for it. I'm using it to grab my current YouTube videos but also some "golden oldies" that have done well. Now we can repurpose the long form videos into various clips and put them natively (important) on other platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok (not using this yet myself).

The thumbnail generator could use some work. I'd like to see the option to natively edit, remove one element and replace with another, but we can do that with Canva. Not a real problem.
