Good Potential, but the Deal Description Needs Much Better Transparency
**Rating: 3/5 stars**
I purchased two AppSumo codes because TeliportMe offers an appealing set of virtual-tour features, including high-resolution panoramas, hotspots, interactive floor plans, branding, and website embedding. These are valuable capabilities for my real-estate photography business, and I'm looking forward to putting them to work.
However, the way this particular AppSumo deal is presented raises two serious concerns about transparency.
**1. Dollhouse is repeatedly advertised but excluded from every AppSumo tier.**
The product headline explicitly says, "Create interactive 360° virtual tours with hotspots, floorplans, and 3D dollhouse." The TL;DR repeats that promise, and an entire section titled "Experience spaces with floorplans and 3D dollhouse" describes generating a Matterport-style 3D view. Screenshots reinforce the impression.
Yet none of the seven AppSumo code tiers includes Dollhouse. TeliportMe confirms this in its Q&A, explaining that the feature requires a separate paid upgrade.
In my account, upgrading to Business LTD costs $948, followed by another $399 for Dollhouse. That's $1,347 beyond my AppSumo purchase to access a feature prominently marketed on the deal page.
I understand that AppSumo may write the descriptions, but the vendor shares responsibility for ensuring its product is represented accurately. This exclusion should be unmistakably clear wherever Dollhouse is promoted, rather than requiring buyers to discover it in the Q&A.
**2. The included "storage" is a cumulative consumption allowance.**
My two-code purchase advertises 6 GB of storage. Normally, when you delete stored files, that capacity becomes available again.
TeliportMe's founder confirms otherwise in the AppSumo Q&A: uploaded panoramas permanently consume the allowance, even when their tours are deleted. He explains that the underlying cost is image processing.
That is a valid business model, but "storage" is an inaccurate description. "Lifetime cumulative upload allowance" or "processing allowance" would communicate the limitation much more clearly.
This directly concerns what AppSumo customers purchase, not an excluded premium feature. It also matters for real-estate photographers who regularly replace sold-property tours with new listings.
**I'm not asking for free premium features or unlimited processing.** I'm asking for clear descriptions of what is included, what costs extra, and how the advertised limits actually work.
TeliportMe appears promising, but the marketing needs to be as trustworthy as the product hopes to be.

Oct 9, 2026Thank you for your detailed review and for purchasing TeliportMe!
We appreciate your feedback, but we’d like to clarify a couple of points for other customers reading this review.
1. 3D Dollhouse: It’s common practice on AppSumo for product descriptions to highlight the overall capabilities of a platform, while the individual deal tiers clearly specify which features are included in the...

Our client retention was increased and TeliportMe made a more of profit for our clients.
TeliportMe has totally changed how we run our agency, and our clients are very happy! Ever since we started using their virtual tours for our cients Airbnb listings, we’ve seen a huge jump in inquiries and confirmed bookings. The 360° experiences helped potential prospects to get a feel of the place, which not only cuts down on unnecessary questions but also builds trust even before they step inside.
Getting started with TeliportMe was easy, and their support team has been super helpful whenever we’ve needed it. Because of the 360 tours, some of our clients were able to raise their property stay rates and have helped them make more profit. So, we highly recommend it... it’s made a huge difference in our business and our clients’ ROI.

Easy setup and addition to my business model
I picked up one code during the sumo sale and added the domain option (cname not included in the lower tiers) so I could use my own domain without jumping to a bigger whitelabel plan.
Ran through the setup and tutorials, and it was pretty straightforward. Reordering panos, setting the starting view, and adding hotspots only took a few clicks. I especially like that you can go in reverse and add back points throughout your tours. Everything stays organized and easy to manage. If you get stuck, the 20m video is definitely worth watching. It walks through the process pretty much step by step.
I work with local businesses like restaurants and gyms, so I’m not the usual real estate use case, but it still looks like a good fit. Support replied in minutes, which was great. Looking forward to seeing what I can do with it once the new X5 shows up.

This is not a lifetime deal
While I do appreciate the concern for sustainability of the project, the fact that it is not stated anywhere that this is NOT a lifetime deal rubs me the wrong way. I actually bought tier 7 before understanding this fact and will be refunding it shortly.
Here is the TeliportMe answer to it being "silently" a limited deal that will run out of resources:
"The non-renewable storage is due to heavy processing required."
The way this issue should have been dealt with is to put a limit on storage used per month, or a year, after which it would reset and the storage would be recovered. Processing power will only get cheaper, this could totally be done sustainably, maybe with lower limits and with the storage being recoverable.
As it stands now, you create a file, you delete a file and you never get the space back, as that is the way any future processing expenses are limited, since there will be no storage to upload data to be processed.
This storage limit methology should be front and center to warn people away.
Or, again, alternatively the limits should be lower, the system should run on some easily-understood credits that replenish over time. That would be much easier to understand.
The fact this is a use it TO lose it and not being clear about it should not be allowed on AppSumo where people assume they are getting a lifetime deal.
This is a license for only so many uses, that's basically it.
That's like some photo editing program advertising:
A LIFETIME LICENSE!!
And then, below, in fine print:
You can crop up to 50 photos before it stops working...

Aug 14, 2025For anyone reading along, I want to be very clear — our AppSumo listing explicitly states non-recurring storage in the plan limits. This isn’t new or hidden fine print — it’s been exactly the same for the last three AppSumo campaigns over more than 5 years. Thousands of customers have built their businesses on this model, which is reflected in the 90+ five-star reviews from real users in this very...
