TeliportMe has totally changed how we run our agency, and our clients are very happy! Ever since we started using their virtual tours for our cients Airbnb listings, we’ve seen a huge jump in inquiries and confirmed bookings. Getting started with TeliportMe was easy, and their support team has been super helpful whenever we’ve needed it. I picked up one code during the sumo sale and added the domain option (cname not included in the lower tiers) so I could use my own domain without jumping to a bigger whitelabel plan.

Ran through the setup and tutorials, and it was pretty straightforward. Reordering panos, setting the starting view, and adding hotspots only took a few clicks. I especially like that you can go in reverse and add back points throughout your tours. Everything stays organized and easy to manage. If you get stuck, the 20m video is definitely worth watching. It walks through the process pretty much step by step.

I work with local businesses like restaurants and gyms, so I’m not the usual real estate use case, but it still looks like a good fit. Support replied in minutes, which was great. Looking forward to seeing what I can do with it once the new X5 shows up.

While I do appreciate the concern for sustainability of the project, the fact that it is not stated anywhere that this is NOT a lifetime deal rubs me the wrong way. I actually bought tier 7 before understanding this fact and will be refunding it shortly.

Here is the TeliportMe answer to it being "silently" a limited deal that will run out of resources:

"The non-renewable storage is due to heavy processing required."

The way this issue should have been dealt with is to put a limit on storage used per month, or a year, after which it would reset and the storage would be recovered. Processing power will only get cheaper, this could totally be done sustainably, maybe with lower limits and with the storage being recoverable.

As it stands now, you create a file, you delete a file and you never get the space back, as that is the way any future processing expenses are limited, since there will be no storage to upload data to be processed.

This storage limit methology should be front and center to warn people away.

Or, again, alternatively the limits should be lower, the system should run on some easily-understood credits that replenish over time. That would be much easier to understand.

The fact this is a use it TO lose it and not being clear about it should not be allowed on AppSumo where people assume they are getting a lifetime deal.

This is a license for only so many uses, that's basically it.

So my usecase is for renting out our vacation home, works really great for that. You just need to make the 360 video, upload it to Teliportme and you can share or embed where you want.
