TidyCal has received high praise for its intuitive interface, seamless calendar integrations, and cost-effectiveness. Customers appreciate the ability to create multiple customizable meeting types. While there are some minor issues such as the lack of SMS reminders and the need for more advanced analytics features, overall, TidyCal is a solid choice for those seeking powerful scheduling software. Extensive branding of TidyCal everywhere is hurting conversions
This used to be my favorite calendar app for many years. What happened?
TidyCal is intuitive and setting up live events, calendars, booking pages, email notifications for bookings, translations, connecting to your own calendar and embedding on your own site is SUPER EASY!
It's very similar to Calendly but without the hefty pricing tag. That's also the reason I bought it years ago and it's been great. I've also recommended it to my entire audience of small business owners and entrepreneurs.
Unfortunately, with the recent revamp of the TidyCal there is TidyCal Branding EVERYWHERE... Why would you kill a great product with that? Frankly I'm very disappointed.
If this was a FREE tool it would MAKE SENSE to have the branding all over the place in order to bring in new users. That makes sense.
However, this is a PAID TOOL and as an early customer I've used, loved and recommended it in the past to 1000's of business owners.
I get that there are KPIs to hit, development scheduled and maintenance to run TidyCal.
However, forcing TidyCal Branding on EVERYTHING just makes the product less attractive.
I paid for Tidycal to use for my business to booking meetings, not to use as a billboard for TidyCal. Common guys... Seriously, you should know better.
I do not want to display Tidycal branding front and center on my embedded forms. It's very intrusive and it draws attention from the actual purpose with the calendar - to book appointments.
Before this change I'd give the tool a strong 5 taco score and was recommending it all the time. As of right now, in the current version with intrusive branding I'd say it's a low 3.
I do not think you have fully worked through the consequences this change is having on your current users and I would encourage you to reconsider this change.
It's takes a lot of hard work to build a brand and reputation online but only one bad move to ruin it.
I think you've taken a wrong turn and would recommend that you consider making the TidyCal Branding optional for all current customers and, if you need to, have the option to remove it on the agency plan for new customers. Not "reduced branding" - Removed branding.
TidyCal is a great product but I think the marketing team needs to take a step back and reassess the long term effects of this.
Not mad. Simply disappointed.

Feedback
Although it is a very good appointment booking app but it has some issues with payment gateway of my country (india), Razorpay. Everytime asking for money from outside the app is little weird.

Love TidyCal! But we could use an extra downtime site for it and all the appsumo originals

It's great for appointments and availability and integration.
I've used it for years and this is the first outage I've experienced 1/5/26 and surprised and hoping it'll be fixed soon.
