TidyCal is highly regarded for its seamless calendar integrations, customizable meeting options, and cost-effectiveness. While some users have noted the limited SMS reminders and the absence of a phone app as minor drawbacks, the overall consensus is positive. With a 60-day money-back guarantee, TidyCal is a compelling choice for those seeking a powerful scheduling tool.

Garbage

When creating a booking link in Spanish, there are two questions that are hard coded and you cannot remove them. That would be fine, I suppose, if someone took the five seconds to properly translate. The questions Your name? is hardcoded as “Su Nombre” when it’s supposed to be “Tu Nombre”. The second one is worse it’s “Su Email”. No one even uses the word email in Spanish. It literally does not exist. When I asked if I could simply remove these two questions so I could add proper Spanish that actually made sense I was told that there was no way to do so. On top of all that your calendar booking page looks like a it was just wrapped by NASCAR with the amount of their branding that’s all over it. I very rarely leave reviews but something this stupid deserves to be rated as poorly as possible. I could understand if it was some obscure language maybe but for someone to not even use Google translate for one of the most popular languages on planet Earth, and then to not allow you to even change their mistakes is baffling. To top it off they wouldn’t offer a refund. Choose literally any other calendar software.

Agency Plan is broken and Support is non-existent!

Note: I am writing this review on December 29th. My support ticket has been open since December 11th.

TidyCal sounds like a great alternative to other tools like Calendly but that's only in theory, unfortunately, in practice, the product is buggy and support on the highest-tier plan has been extremely disappointing.

I upgraded to the TidyCal Agency plan on December 11 specifically to use it with our clients. The platform was buggy from day one!

The embedded booking pages, confirmation screens, and emails continued to display full "Free Plan" TidyCal branding rather than the reduced branding. On top of that, changes were not saving correctly, and booking types couldn’t even be deleted.

When I contacted support, their suggested "workaround" was to create bookings under my main agency account. This is unacceptable because it forces my agency branding instead of the client’s branding, completely defeating the purpose of the Agency plan.

After rejecting that workaround, communication stopped entirely. During this silence, I identified two more critical issues:
• Custom email notifications wouldn’t save, forcing us to use the default email template (which is poorly drafted).
• Booking types could not be deleted.

I sent three follow-up emails in total with no response. Eventually I gave up, and I requested a refund.

Only on December 22 support finally replied claiming all issues had been fixed. They hadn’t!!

I tested again and replied on December 23 providing a fresh screen recording confirming that nothing had been resolved.

Since that email, there has been complete silence. No update. No explanation. No accountability. Support has simply disappeared, and my ticket has effectively been abandoned.

We are approaching three weeks with core Agency features still broken. If you run an agency or rely on this tool for professional client work, proceed with extreme caution. TidyCal is currently not reliable enough for a professional environment.

Support has been slow, inaccurate and ultimately unresponsive even after being shown their “resolution” was false.

I have requested a refund, and as of this review I am still waiting!

Perfect, except for one issue that makes it unusable (for me and probably others)

I love everything about Tidycal. It's simple to use, nice to look at and does exactly what I need for my tutoring business - I have public booking landing pages for general lesson types, private booking links for students who get classes at a discounted price that other students don't know about, Stripe integration for easy payments of one-off or a package of lessons... everything in one tidy, user-friendly package. My students were impressed - the booking page looked great and the whole system made me look like a serious professional rather than your run-of-the-mill, cash-in-hand tutor. They were able to book slots for their future lessons and pay for a monthly package in advance, receiving reminder emails before each class. Absolutely the perfect scheduling system from my end as well as theirs.

So imagine my disappointment when I found out the hard way about a fatal flaw in the system. 2 of my students booked a package of 8 and 9 lessons respectively - 1-hour lessons for 20 euros each. They paid 160/180 euros and the system decided to charge them 160/180 euros PER LESSON, rather than for all the lessons in the package! So the booking page now shows that they've paid for one lesson each but payment is pending for the other lessons booked, with each hour waiting for a payment of 160/180 each, rather than the 20 euros I actually charge. These lessons have not been added to my calendar as they are regarded as "unpaid" by the system.

I have written to support about the issue, and the answer included, I quote "We’ve been made aware of the issue you mentioned, and our development team is actively investigating it so they can address it appropriately. I’ve also added you to the list of users who will receive updates as we make progress on this." So, I'm not alone in my experience of this major flaw/bug/glitch/whatever you want to call it.

Obviously, this is more than a minor inconvenience - it's a dealbreaker for me as my students like to plan their lives/book their classes for a month in advance and paying once for a package of 8 lessons rather than for each lesson individually is much more convenient.

My 60-day refund period is coming towards its end, so unless they can find a quick solution to the problem, I will have to look for alternatives to what I initially thought was the absolute ideal calendar app for my needs.

Enjoying TidyCal

I like how easy the set up process is to get started. How easy it was for prospects and clients to use TidyCal. I can say that it's working for me and I am glad my friend, Akilah, recommended it to me and brought me back into to AppSumo family!

I am not the most techy person and it is a breeze so far. I do not expect perfection yet its a darn good product...PERIOD!

Great product!

Needs to allow unavailable blocks to be booked in

Great app - however really needs to allow blocks of unavailable dates to be added, rather than only single days at a time (when you're away for a month - it takes so long to add each day in, it gets painful)
