Q: Why does it require my stripe API secret key?

When I go to connect my Stripe account, it asks for the secret API key in addition to the publishable key. On Stripe, I can only view the secret API key once before I have to generate a whole new one, which would mean redoing other integrations elsewhere I'd rather leave alone. I tried using a restricted API key instead of the secret key, because that has worked for other software integrations,...

Q: Is this feature planned ?

Trafft already handles capacity, payments, time slots, and notifications. If each booking generated a unique QR code and staff had a simple check in screen, Trafft would support full event and reservation workflows. This would open Trafft to restaurants, studios, venues, and any business that wants a flat cost alternative to systems like OpenTable or Eventbrite.

Q: Buffer time not getting added in the time slots

Hello,

I have 50 mins class per session and want next 10 mins for clean up. I have added there in the services settings. Also I have enabled "Use service duration as booking time slot" in general settings. My working times are between 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM (say). I am getting slots of 06:00 - 06:50, 06:50-07:40 and 07:40-08:30. But I want 06:00 - 06:50, 07:00-07:50 and 08:00-08:50.

I tried...

A: Hi,

Thank you for your question.

The simplest way to handle this is to create multiple working periods that align with your service duration. For example:

1st period: 06:00–06:50
2nd period: 07:00–07:50
…and so on

This naturally adds a 10-minute gap between each period, so you won’t need buffer time at all.

Hope this helps.

Q: Hello - to clarify I understood your response correctly:

(Wrote also in comments but perhaps you missed it... ) Are you saying:
1. No, you cannot create employees via API right now.
2. No, employees are not independent of each other (which Im assuming means they are visible to each other and my use-case cannot work? )
3. Thats clear.
4. Yes, I can connect via my own webhook (hubspot has an API so thats fine). Did I understand correctly? If I did not understand 2. correctly then I'd be happy!

A: Hi,

Here are the answers:

1.That is correct. Currently, the API does not support creating employees. You can only create agency clients and, under them, customers. Employees can only be listed.

2.This relates to agency clients. Each client is a separate business under the same agency, while multiple employees belong to those clients. With custom roles, you can restrict employees from seeing...

Q: Can you add a search box in Services, Service Extras, Resources and Employee assigned services sections?

Currently, if we have many services, many service extras and many resources assigned employee and we want to find it quickly it is hard to find what we are searching for and we need to scroll down, and up and jump between pages to find what we want to edit, this waste of time, so please add search boxes APIs for each one of them so this will save us a lot of time and never worry about the number of services and etc ... we can have or list or onboard in our booking website.

A: Hi,

Thank you for the suggestion. This is actually very useful, and we’ll consider adding dedicated search boxes in the future to make navigation easier.

For now, the best workaround is to organize your services and packages into categories so the list is easier to manage. You can also use your browser’s search function (Ctrl + F) to quickly jump to specific items in the list.
