patrickwQ: Booking gapless appointments
I wonder if you support this feature that I haven't seen anywhere but need...
I like to see clients one after the other.
So if I open my week for people to book i might have large gaps between appointments.
I'd like for the week to be open and as the first person books only time slots +- 2 hours from the initial booking stay available and the rest of the day (and or days) is blocked.
As more clients book more appointments open up +- 2 hours from the last booking.
The hope is that it creates a schedule that has few gaps and where I might work on less days but on those days I'm fully busy.
Do you support that? And if yes what options are there to configure it? And if you don't yet do you plan to develop it? I think its an awesome feature that very few calendar apps have

Unfortunately, there is no automated solution available for this issue at the moment.
While it may seem like a straightforward fix, coding challenges often make such implementations more complex. Additionally, this particular suggestion has received two separate entries, with a combined total of only 8 votes over the past three years. This places it far from the top of our priority list compared to other, more widely requested features.
With limited resources and a strong commitment to maintaining system stability, we have to prioritize carefully. As you may know, there are over 3,000 suggestions submitted so far.
I understand if this might be disappointing or even a deal-breaker. While I cannot say this feature won't be implemented in the future, I hope this provides some clarity on our decision-making process.

So is it safe to assume that you are not committed to implementing this? And if not could I ask why? Its a feature that I imagine everyone who does not just sit and wait for customers would want to use and a feature calendly etc. doesn't have
And the reason I ask about it because with this feature I would totally buy an agency account!

Regarding the 8 votes.... I think when we still had horses and we would asked who wants a car that maybe not many would have voted. And I personally feel its such a useful feature (to fill up ones calendar in blocks instead of spread all throughout the week) that if it was describes well or presented to people that it would be VERY POPULAR and USED
