Hello, I have some questions if you are so kind to respond: 1)Would you consider increasing recording length per video? There are some cases where I would personally need more than 1h(ex. staff meetings) 2) At this point I saw the Chrome extension it is redirecting to website for recording instead of recording with the extension itself. As far as I saw, it works better and faster with extension to record. Will you update your chrome extension in the future? 3) After recording is made, I saw that the video is being uploaded onto the website storage. I have tested this with your 5min videos. Will it take longer to upload 1h videos in comparison with 5min videos? 4) And I also see there that video is being processed for a very long time. I cannot use it until it is finished being processed? 5) Do you have a roadmap, and the possibility to make suggestions? 6) Will you update the UI ? It looks a little bit outdated and there would be more room for improvement. Also it would be useful to have a drag & drop possibility to move Video Recordings to Folders. Thank you.

Hey There! Thanks for asking. Let me see if I can help with each:

    1. Yes, we have plans to increase length. We've been heads down in making our recording solution better but at some point we will. I will say, increasing recording length means we'll need to charge for it. Not sure how we'll do that yet but it's on the list.

    2. Yep, we're aware. We created the chrome extension but ran into some issues with buidling out the recording functions in the chrome extension. We had more familiarity with the chrome extension but our goal is to build out the chrome extension as well. As a note, the chrome extension does have the tools manage recording (pause, drawing capabilities, etc) however, we haven't deliver the recording components in the chrome extension yet. It's on our roadmap to deliver in the next couple of months.

3 and 4. I'll answer these together as they are definitely related. In our free version, we use your browser to store your recording and then send that data up to our cloud to be processed once the recording is finished. We did this to save on cost as most of the cost for recording solutions are free users who never pay for the product (see Looms crackdown on free users with new upgrade expereinces). However, this will change very soon as we've lowered the cost for streaming solution so we'll be moving users over to our streaming solution that sends directly to our server every few seconds. Our streaming solution (which paid users have access to) upload almost instentaneously so if you use Vento as a paid user, you won't see this issue even for longer vidoes as by the time you hit pause, most of the data is already on our server being processed.

    5. We're in the midst of making one. We've been holding off for awhile as most of recent changes have not been experience changes but architecture changes. Since we've now proved a market for Vento, we needed to change our architectural approach to ensure maintainability. We've spent the last two months working on this alone. Once we get past this, we'll put out a roadmap (to other sumolings that have asked this question, sorry it's taking so long but we need to nail the architecture to make sure we're ready for the future). You can make suggestions at any time through our chat our email.

    6. Yep, we're aware. Our whole point of Vento is to make sure the recording solution is rock solid before we make a ton of UI but we'll be making changes in the future.

    Hope this helps!!
