Another video conferencing tool that shuts down without warning, from one moment to the next. I won't be buying any more video conferencing tools on AppSumo; I'm switching to a annually paid solution now. My main need is really good resolution for screen sharing. Vivomeetings offered this, so I was satisfied with its quality so far. But I won't jump on the "offer" of the company behind Vivomeetings, after being treated this way. I switch to a paid solution, and with a little research, I've found an application that offers excellent resolution and only costs me 12 bucks a year. It is securely encrypted, ISO-certified, and bulletproof GDPR-compliant. So all good :-)

I got an email saying they are no longer in business so I need to get my lifelong refund from AppSumo. Very frustrating.

I've bought 20+ lifetime deals on AppSumo. 3 or 4 are now dead, 3 or 4 were never usable, and I have no idea how long the rest will last. VivoMeetings is the latest.
I bought two VivoMeetings accounts — one for my own use, one for client calls. Both are gone. No migration window, no export path, no replacement offer. I found out when meetings stopped working, which meant scrambling in front of clients and moving everything back to Google Meet mid-schedule.
Checking the reviews here, I'm clearly not alone — other buyers report the same shutdown with no notice. I'm not blaming the concept of lifetime deals. But "lifetime" means the vendor's lifetime, not mine, and there's no protection once the refund window closes.

Rating: 1/5. Not because the product was bad while it worked — it was fine — but because it left without a word.

I am disappointed to have purchased so many tiers for a lifetime account only to be charged a monthly fee from a company with the same platform but different brand name. I am taking too many L's on Appsumo.

This has been discontinued , i took a lifetime plan , now i recieved a email that they have discountinued this , what is the gaurantee of the products i purchase if they discontinue it
