Quite good at first but getting worse and iOS works unpredictable

The biggest issue is with iOS App.
Every time I use the VoiceDash keyboard and try to record something, the application pops up with an unnecessary confirmation, forcing me to confirm and return to the app I was dictating in. This happens almost every single time.
The second issue is that it disrupts the audio sent to my headphones or any connected Bluetooth device. I usually have to reconnect or restart the app— for example, Spotify— because the output audio gets broken when using the VoiceDash option.
So those are the main issues with the iOS app. It's unstable and difficult to use.
Overall the app seems very useful but the UI/UX needs to get better and also the quality of transcription should get better not worse in time...
I see that more and more words are not detected properly, like the model changed or it uses less compute power than before?
Also sometimes I don't like the editing and styling that gets applied to the outcome text.
I would prefer not to switch but might be forced to do so.

Good when it works.

When this app works, it's brilliant, but unfortunately it is hit-or-miss. It can take ages to process your voice to text, And at least 40% of the time, it doesn't apply the text into the app that you are working in. If this is not improved within the next couple of days, I will be getting a refund and going to Blip AI.

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear about your experience, and I understand how frustrating that must be, especially when VoiceDash works well at times but then fails to insert the text consistently.

To help our technical team investigate this further, could you please send us a screen recording showing the issue when it occurs?

We'd also like to confirm:

Which app(s) are you dictating into when the text...

The quality has declined sharply.

Since the last update, the transcriptions are no longer usable. The quality has declined sharply. I will switch to another provider.

Hi,

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing a decline in transcription quality.

Could you please provide a bit more detail about what exactly is happening with the transcriptions?

For example:

* Are words being transcribed incorrectly?
* Are portions of your speech being omitted?
* Is VoiceDash outputting text in the wrong language?
* Are words being translated into another language...

The app has lost the stability

I’ve been using VoiceDash app for the past 2–3 months, and at first it was really good. But with each update, it seems to be getting more and more unstable.

One of the biggest problems is that I use it to speak instead of type. I’ll dictate a longer message, sometimes for a minute or two, and then the app crashes or throws an error like “audio could not upload” or “timed out.” That’s really frustrating because the whole point of this app is to let me speak naturally without having to type.

After speaking for two or three minutes, I end up having to start over, and sometimes it still won’t work after the second or third attempt. Eventually, I just give up and type everything out instead. It’s incredibly annoying.

I’ve already reported this issue several times, including sending video recordings to support, but I’ve stopped getting responses. The app had real value when I first started using it, but now it feels unreliable and replaceable. I wish I could get a refund, but since I bought it only two months ago, I’m stuck with it. I really hope they fix these issues soon.

I wouldn't mind updating my review when I get a resolution of my problem, but I'm really unhappy.

Hi,

First of all, thank you for taking the time to explain everything in detail, and I completely understand why you’re frustrated.

I can see how disruptive this has been, especially since your workflow depends on being able to dictate naturally for longer periods without worrying about losing everything midway through. Having recordings fail after speaking for one or two minutes, then needing...

Good choice

I have considered and tried quite a few voice to text apps and it was never worth the money. Voicedash definitively is worth the money. The results are perfect and it saves a lot of time. I especially like the custom dictionary for specific terms I use.
I am glad I choose Voicedash.
