Hello, I've been using this for a couple of days for my job. It's working pretty well, and I'm happy with it. I mean, it's a lifesaver.

I am speaking this review using the tool’s automatic translator. I used WhisperFlow for a month and was about to pay the annual plan, but I found this tool on AppSumo, and honestly it surprised me. It works practically the same as WhisperFlow, and I even found some better features, such as this function where I speak in Spanish—my native language—and everything is being written in English. Good for you. Thank you. Great product.

I purchased VoiceDash to evaluate it. The concept is interesting; however, it is still under development and not yet on par with competitors.

I chose a Tier 2 license because I anticipated that 200,000 words might be insufficient, even though that is a large amount. The Tier 2 plan provides up to 600,000 minutes per month, which is impressive.

I am now considering upgrading to Tier 3, although I may never fully utilize Tier 2.

I am genuinely impressed. I have been using it all day and have processed 2,000 words today. I replied to all my emails, achieved inbox zero, and found the workflow extremely simple.

I am reviewing this using VoiceDash, which also processes the audio prompt. So far, I am absolutely in love with the service. It is easy to use, and despite typing at approximately 90 words per minute, I prefer voice input, especially while working from home with no one around. I enjoy conversing with my computer and completing work magically through my voice.

This is probably the easiest review to write because I don’t even have to type it. I’ve been using WillowVoice from AppSumo’s Bundle Deal Volume 3. I wondered what I would do once the year ended and I needed to renew the membership. That was my first time using any voice-to-text app. So when I found VoiceDash, I thought, this is going to be perfect for me.

I’ve saved so many hours by not having to type, especially when recording videos and tutorials. Or when streaming sessions, or webinars. Instead of typing in front of an audience, I just dictate. People often ask me, "How did you do that?"

I was a bit worried about the 200K words per month limit, but I had no idea how many words I actually spoke. I’m well within the limit, even though I use it all day long.

What I love.
I speak English and Spanish, and both work perfectly. You just set the output language to auto-detect and can switch languages freely.
Having a custom system prompt is really cool. I was able to give some instructions, like avoiding the use of em dashes (So typical of AI) and explaining a bit about my tone and style of communication.
Having the ability to mute the music when dictating is also very nice.

What can be improved.
The only thing I think is missing is that the voice bar at the bottom of the screen should show which app you’re talking to. Sometimes I’m speaking to one app but don’t realize the cursor is in another, so everything I say ends up somewhere else.

So this is basically a duplicate of Wispr Flow, down to the keyboard shortcuts. Less polished overall (which is fine as it's a newer app). The transcription takes a bit longer sometimes, and while WisprFlow edits what you've said to remove all mistakes and inputs the edited transcript, VoiceDash just prints exactly as you speak. So then you have to edit afterwards.

I saw that the founder said you can add a custom prompt, but that's not quite the same as WisprFlow doing it automatically and then providing an undo button if you want the original transcript. Wispr also lets you set the level or style of editing you want - formal, casual, etc. per different app. I'm sure VoiceDash will get there eventually. For now it's pretty good value!
