From within your website creation portal, you can choose to suspend or unsuspend sites, and suspended sites do not count towards your limit. So you could set one up to test, suspend it and still have 3 sites to create for live use. You just wouldn't be able to unsuspend again if you filled your site quota.
Awesome thanks, so the limits are literally a total live at one time limit (and actually I could have another couple suspended). Thanks, nice and clear
Q: Can I create a multilingual website ?
Is there an a translate button to ease out the bilingual task ?
Hi MHDLABIB Thanks for the question! There is the option to add Google Translate to the live website so that users can translate the website into the language of their choosing. You can find this in the side menu by going to Theme Designer> Extras> General Options. I hope this helps, but if you have any further questions, let us know!
Q: Can we collaborate with teammates / clients on this?
How many admins and technicians and clients and subaccounts do we get ?
Yes, you can collaborate with teammates and clients using the WebBoss platform! Not only can you create as many admin accounts as you need, but using the Account Access Lists, you can customise each account to have different levels of access to suit the project.
I hope this helps, but if you have any further questions, let us know!
Q: Given how other deals have tried to pull fast ones on the LTD community, I have to ask.
What are the plans for the LTD community and WebBoss in the future? Will we get access to new features in the future? Are there plans to lock certain features behind a paid add-on? Will new features go to higher tier plans?
I just responded to your other message asking the same thing, so I'll copy the answer here:
We can white label on a case by case discussion. Additional costs would depend entirely on how many sites you would need to be white labelled. If you bought a higher tier and needed them all white labelled that would be more work than if you only got the lowest tier, for example.
Get in touch if it's something you would like to discuss further :)
Q: Hi, nice offer but 1 comment:
I would like to purchase Tier 5 immediately, but what I miss in this offer is ...
white label, which is a requirement for many members of Appsumo. In the comments I read that this is possible (you can already offer it), then I would not hesitate to offer this in tier 5. (golden tip :-) Regards, Ribse
White labelling is something we have offered to other partners before on special deals, as it requires us to manually update the backend to suit other branding. So normally we deal with this on a case by case basis and discuss any additional work/charges that would normally be involved.
If this is still something that interests you, please get in touch with us and we can discuss further :)

Q: It has a button for a free trial but when you click that it says you need to create a developer account.
Once you click there it only links to the AppSumo product page. Is there a way to get a trial to look around and try the features out? Thanks.

Yes that should be possible if you wanted to pull in RSS or XML feeds :)
Q: Hi,
1.
What will be cost of per GB add on for extra storage, in case someone needs it.
2. What new features can one hope in context off membership site, can I embed video links? Do you plan to gear this solution for websites outside blogging and e-commerce realm?
3. Are there bandwidth limitations, any extra costfor bandwidth add on?
1. So far, none of our customers have exceeded the disc space allowances so we've never needed to cost up additional allowances, but if it did become a need, then we you can contact us and we can have a look at what we can work out.
2. The membership at the moment gives you membership profiles and other interactions like restricting the built-in comments to members only, locking pages to members only or to specific membership groups which you can create, and they can store ecommerce address details and an e-wallet. Members can send each other messages etc. too. On the roadmap are plans to overhaul the membership module and make it much more flexible to various uses so that you can use membership on a site in a whole new way, and we plan to integrate payment options into that as well so you can offer paid membership to access restricted content.
3. At the moment, each site has 600GB bandwidth per month. Even our busiest websites don't even use 30% of that, but if it was needed, then we would assess it on a case-by-case basis to figure out any costs if you needed more than that a month.
4. Wordpress is probably the closest competitor in terms of the platform itself and the blogging etc., whereas Shopify would likely be closest comparison for ecommerce.

Q: Hi,
1.
In your description, you are saying that WebBoss is a web builder that having lots of features for building e-Commerce website. How do you compare WebBoss with Gigrove, another web builder which is also in offer right now in AppSumo? 2. Gigrove generously offers 200 GB storage per sub-accounts. Why do you only offer 20 GB per sub-accounts for WebBoss? e-Commerce websites generally will need more spaces since some photos need to be uploaded for each products images description. WIll you reconsider this storage offer? 3. Do WebBoss have live chat/messaging feature? 4. Can I link other online storage (ex. Google Drive/DropBox) with my WebBoss website so for saving some space in my WebBoss website's storage?
1. In your description, you are saying that WebBoss is a web builder that having lots of features for building e-Commerce website. How do you compare WebBoss with Gigrove, another web builder which is also in offer right now in AppSumo? > I've had a look at Gigrove and from what I can tell, they are purely eCommerce for small businesses or side gigs. We are a full CMS platform that offers functionality for blogging, membership, photo galleries, banner creation, image editor, GDPR module, plus more and of course, a feature rich eCommerce platform.
2. Gigrove generously offers 200 GB storage per sub-accounts. Why do you only offer 20 GB per sub-accounts for WebBoss? > Our disc space increases with the tiers up to 50GB, though, we have been doing eCommerce sites for ten years now and even with our biggest clients (some with hundreds of products or taking around 30k a months through their site), very few have exceeded 20GB of space. But should it become an issue if you had a site, you can always contact us to talk and see what we can do.
3. Do WebBoss have live chat/messaging feature? > If you mean for you to add on your site to talk with your own clients, we don't have a native one, but embedding third party chat features is really simple to do.
4. Can I link other online storage... > Not at the moment, no. But feel free to add it to our feature request board so we can properly consider it: https://roadmap.webboss.io/
I hope this helps answer your questions! :)
Q: Someone else here asked if we can export the website or if we are vendor locked.
You said that it's not possible and then yuo said it's possible by backing up the website and getting the files, html and css.
What's the deal with these replies that have no detail, explain nothing, create confusion and don't answer the question?
I know you are busy, but for this question I want a reply that answer the question fully.
Don't turn this into an infinite thread, try to answer everything in one reply.
Sorry that there appears to have been some confusion here!
You can back up your website to a zip folder containing everything from the theme design that you would see in a browser (eg: images, css, html). For any other data or things you have uploaded, you can export the file uploads to a zip as well, plus nearly every area which collects data of some sort can be exported into CSV format. The website backup feature is in the System Options > Website backups. Everything else has an "export" button on the page of each section that enables you to download your data.
So while you can't take the platform and/or features with you, you can take what's important to you in terms of design and data.
I hope this helps to answer your questions. We also have a Knowledgebase which may also help you: https://webbosswebsites.com/support/kb/index.php
Sorry about any confusion, I thought this would have answered your question in the previous reply:
"So while you can't take the platform and/or features with you, you can take what's important to you in terms of design and data"
So should you leave WebBoss at some point, and as long as wherever you're going allows you to import data from CSV files and upload images, HTML and CSS, then you can move your site if need be. You just can't take the platform with you to other servers.
Q: Hi Luke,
Is it possible to integrate Gravity forms into the website?
It comes with a code you can integrate to any html before head tag. On the other hand I am not sure about what they mention on their website and how Webboss could cope with is: “ For HTTPS resources, install the SDK files. In the personal account in the site settings, you need to download the SDK files and place them in the root folder of the site, so that they can be accessed via links:…”
Thanks for coming back to me with that. Adding to the HTML wouldn't be an issue, but uploading to the root wouldn't be as simple through the admin interface. But if this is something generic that is required for integration, then it's certainly something we could look into and consider.
It isn't? When I looked it up, I only saw that it was a Wordpress plugin, unless there's something else by the same name. Would you be able to say how it can be used outside of Wordpress that may help here?
Sorry no, we have and are developing our own eCommerce platform within WebBoss
Q: Welcome!
I full stacked on sitejet because they linked us to their top website plan and provide all their features within their plans. That said they do not have a native store yet and integrate with ecwid (I do not like ecwid and any saas that has marketplaces or addon pluggins because they tend to focus on selling access to third parties to develop their platform by charging their users - happy to see webboss does not operate this way as well.
I am interested but have a few questions:
1. Does the membership module allow us to fetch from these memberships for sso? I am thinking about forums, chatrooms, roadmaps and other saas we have on subdomains to a webboss site. Sitejet did not have a native membership function yet, so this would be an incentive for me, also do these members have control over areas in the website (a profile page, webpage, microblog, listings?) can you build a directory for example? like a classifieds website or realestate site where members can list within an easy member UI?
2. I still build with wpress especially bigger projects but I have moved away from elementor in favor of divy and other fast drag-drop builders. I also find myself using wix, square and weebly which allow me to access to the code but are fast and easy to move elements around without lots of clicks and menus. The reason I purchased sitejet was they assured me they would be launching a much simpler interface this year while retaining a more feature rich mode, their current setup at the moment is heavily menu based (which I do not like) even though they have lots of premade elements that make things easier. I saw some videos on your YT channel, they are from 2 and 4 years ago so there has likely been considerable ui/ux improvements since then, do you plan to implement a quick/basic mode for building fast websites with drag-drop and the ability to manipulate elements within the builder without requiring menus (moving, resizing, merging, reordering, etc) UI is everything for me these days because I find myself building a lot of simple websites and even though I can code I prefer simple and easy builders especially if when I have to turn a website over to a client less familiar with web design.
3. also I noticed "We have an appointment booking plugin that is normally an optional extra" Can you please clarify this because I was of the understanding that all plugins/modules etc are included in these webboss LTD's. I want to be clear what is included and what are considered optional extras, I couldn't find these on the website.
I am quite interested especially with a native store option but would like to understand the direction of the builder based on above questions also do you have any recent walkthrough tutorials, that would be great to see more.
1. Does the membership module allow us to fetch from these memberships for sso? ... > Not at the moment, no. Membership allows people to sign up, create a profile, interact with other member profiles (depending on privacy settings) etc. You can create member groups to categorise people too. This means you can then lock pages of the website to be accessed by members or specific member groups only. The native comments module can also be set to only allow members too. Members can also store their address details and an e-wallet to speed up ecom checkout.
The membership module is also roadmapped for a huge remodeling to make it more flexible for different purposes, plus with the intention to allow things like microblogs, photo albums etc. and a way to even sell on the site. If you have any other suggestions, please add them on our roadmap as a comment on the membership feature request.
2. I still build with wpress especially bigger projects but... > Yes a new page editor is high on the priority list to be made soon. The plan is to make it a block based drag and drop editor so it's more visually representative of what you're building and quicker to make.
3. also I noticed "We have an appointment booking plugin that is normally an optional extra" Can you please clarify this because... > All plugins are included, but I think there needs some clarification of misunderstanding. The plugin isn't 100% finished yet, but a few clients required it ahead of time during COVID so we charged a nominal integration fee to prioritise development time. Once it is fully ready for public release, it will be included as standard in the platform in a future update (as with any new feature).
If you want to see our guides and FAQs, have a look here: http://www.webbosswebsites.com/support/kb/index.php And our roadmap page should give you an idea of where we're headed with new features and upgrades: https://roadmap.webboss.io/
Sorry for the delay in response, I hope this helps answer your questions! :)
Thank you for your reply to mine and other peoples questions here,
1. That is great there are plans for a huge remodeling of the membership module, with the ability to expand member spaces and sell on the site is fantastic and could be great for listing digital and physical products as classifieds or some marketplace in the future for classifieds, real-estate, job board, etc It would be great to see some gamification options introduced in this module such as leaderboards, member badges, granular controls over member features (post limits, personalized signatures and headers for example. I understand the SSO capability is not available yet, is there a possible ETA for when this could ship? My intention would be to have members sign into a webBoss site (domain) and then other saas platforms such as forums, chatrooms, roadmaps, boards and other future member spaces on subdomains can fetch from this webBoss membership. We will likely stack for tier 5, the plans are generous and I agree most websites will not exceed 3gb let alone 50gb but Id like to see unlimited disc space per site (as is case with bandwidth) just for peace of mind if anything else. We are in Asia so the site load times are slower than we'd like but good to see there are plans to expand your servers in near future.
2. Great that a new page editor is high on the priority list, I like the control menus or code access affords me when I need it but honestly, most the of time drag-drop and move around is how I build the majority of websites and it helps me build a lot faster is everything for me and two other web designers I work with who will likely buy into this deal if I do not on this account.
3. Thank you for clarifying the misunderstanding on plugins, that is good to hear all plugins are included and I now understand. I am happy you came here, I am surprised I have not come across the webBoss before. Im very interested in WebBoss, I will do a trial and I look forward to the improvements to UI and the capability to fetch as mentioned above in 1.
Thanks for the link to the help section, It also be good to see a larger walkthrough or some webinar series on your YouTube channel, I saw Mike from mrdzyn on here earlier, hopefully he will do some walkthrough comparison to his webstarts, sitejet, and other platforms as well.
"That is great there are plans for a huge remodeling of the membership module, with the ability to expand member spaces ... Id like to see unlimited disc space per site (as is case with bandwidth) just for peace of mind if anything else. " > I'm not sure on an exact ETA as of yet, but we will keep the roadmap updated with any progress so people can follow and comment on features they want most. If more disc space was required at a later date, then you can always contact us via the support channels and we can see what we can do.
"Thanks for the link to the help section, It also be good to see a larger walkthrough or some webinar series on your YouTube channel" > No problem :) We will keep adding to and updating these as we go. There is also onboarding tours in the admin side too which will help to guide you through the interface.
Q: Hi All,
As a long time Wordpress user looking to simplify my life WebBoss looks like a great option.
Thank you for offering a lifetime deal. I've a couple of questions.
1. What are my options to connect forms designed in WebBoss to my preferred email marketing services (Moosend, Sendy and MailerLite)?
2. Is it possible to configure products to link to external sites? I'm an author and as well as selling books direct I'd like to link the visitor to purchase from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc.
1. What are my options to connect forms designed in WebBoss to my preferred email marketing services (Moosend, Sendy and MailerLite)? > I'm not familiar with how those services work, but if you can import data from CSV, then we have got you covered as nearly everything data-related in WebBoss can be exported into CSV format.
2. Is it possible to configure products to link to external sites? I'm an author and as well as selling books direct I'd like to link the visitor to purchase from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc. > Not right now, but it is definitely something I have been thinking about recently and is on my roadmap to add soon
The scenario is I offer visitors a free ebook when they sign up to my mailing list. When the visitor uses the WebBoss form to give me their email address I'd like that email address to be automatically added to my mailing list.
On other forms I do this with web hooks or API's but it sound like it would have to be a manual process with WebBoss until you release your own Open API ?
Is that correct and of so do you have an estimate when your API will be available ?
Yes, for the time being it would be manual, though the desire for more API access to the system is becoming more apparent from many of these comments so it's something I will try to prioritise on our roadmap for upcoming feature releases.
I don't have an estimate, but the questions and comments from this AppSumo deal page is really helping to show what people need/want and so we will shape future updates accordingly! :)
Q: Hi, I have two things.
1) Just purchased and it is logging me off after every 20 seconds or so. Your support ticketing system is not working aswell as contact form is missing send button.
2) Can you also please reply to my first question from today?
Q: How much do you charge per website>?
If the client wants to take over can I give them?
Are they whitelabel>?

Hi Sumolixie
If you buy the deal, you are getting a LTD on hosting, so whatever you charge your client is up to you.
We are working on a white label option at the moment still, based on feedback from here.
Hope this helps!

On the other hand I am not sure about what they mention on their website and how Webboss could cope with is: “ For HTTPS resources, install the SDK files. In the personal account in the site settings, you need to download the SDK files and place them in the root folder of the site, so that they can be accessed via links:…”
Hi Joe2000
Thanks for coming back to me with that. Adding to the HTML wouldn't be an issue, but uploading to the root wouldn't be as simple through the admin interface. But if this is something generic that is required for integration, then it's certainly something we could look into and consider.
Yes, you can. Gravity isn’t for WP only.
Hi Joe2000
It isn't? When I looked it up, I only saw that it was a Wordpress plugin, unless there's something else by the same name. Would you be able to say how it can be used outside of Wordpress that may help here?
Q: any plans to support bigcommerce?

Hi Sumo-ling
3. also I noticed "We have an appointment booking plugin that is normally an optional extra"
Can you please clarify this because I was of the understanding that all plugins/modules etc are included in these webboss LTD's. I want to be clear what is included and what are considered optional extras, I couldn't find these on the website.
I am quite interested especially with a native store option but would like to understand the direction of the builder based on above questions also do you have any recent walkthrough tutorials, that would be great to see more.
Thank you!

Question
Hi payteam

Sorry for the delay in response, I hope this helps answer your questions! :)
Hi Luke,
Thank you for your reply to mine and other peoples questions here,
Thank you

> I'm not sure on an exact ETA as of yet, but we will keep the roadmap updated with any progress so people can follow and comment on features they want most.
If more disc space was required at a later date, then you can always contact us via the support channels and we can see what we can do.
"Thanks for the link to the help section, It also be good to see a larger walkthrough or some webinar series on your YouTube channel"
> No problem :) We will keep adding to and updating these as we go. There is also onboarding tours in the admin side too which will help to guide you through the interface.
Q: Hi All, As a long time Wordpress user looking to simplify my life WebBoss looks like a great option.
Cheers
Stephen

Hi Stephen
Hi Luke,
The scenario is I offer visitors a free ebook when they sign up to my mailing list.
Cheers
Stephen
Hi StephenGordon
Thank you

Hi Joe2000
Sorry for the delay. I'll look into the issue you mentioned. Can I clarify if this happens even if you have the "keep me logged in" checked?
I have also replied to the other question now too
