Hello, I need to share specific areas with specific people. Could you tell me the maximum number of people it is possible to share with (one person per area) and how privacy works, meaning can you assure me that each person only sees their own area? Thank you.

Oct 5, 2026A: Hi there, thank you for your question! yes, Worklenz gives you full control over who sees what. You can set up privacy at three levels:
Organization level: Manage who is part of your workspace and their roles.
Team level: Group people into teams so each team only works within its own space.
Project level: Add each person only to the projects they need. Members can only see the projects they are added to.
So if you create a separate project (or team) for each area and add one person to each, every person will only see their own area.
The number of members depends on your active plan. With the AppSumo Lifetime Deal, each code gives you 5 members, and you can stack up to 10 codes for a total of 50 members.

Hi and thanks. I need to use Worklenz for my school, so it wouldn't be a typical use for its actual purpose. Basically, I need to create a board or project and share it with a student. In this case, is a student still considered an external member even if they are not an active member of the project?

In this case, each student you share a project with would be counted as a member of your organization. Since you may have many students, the best option for you would be our self-hosted version, which comes with unlimited users and projects.

As for AI, we're planning to release AI features by the end of this year. These features will most likely be part of the Business tier.

The Worklenz AI feature will be available on the Pro and Business plans, and it will work on an AI credit basis. Team members using a free Worklenz account will not have access to it.
