A: Hello info4512g
Yes, WP Security Ninja can absolutely be used in Europe.
From a practical GDPR perspective, the plugin is built for security-related use, and site owners should make sure their own privacy policy properly discloses any relevant logging or security processing on their website.
And thank you for asking this, by the way — it made us realize we had not properly covered the DPA...
Hi, saw your reddit post where you mentioned that after 10 years of development, your plugin only managed to generate $2k RMM. Somebody on reddit told you to either completely change what youre doing or ditch it altogether. What are your further plans regarding WP Security Ninja? Lately, many AS deals, even the Select ones, gor abandoned and I got burned...

A: Hi,
Fair question.
That was not my post, but an employee’s post, and at least he was clever enough not to use real numbers. Still, I would not treat that Reddit comment as a reliable picture of the business or the product.
What matters is this: we have been actively working on WP Security Ninja for around 7 years since taking it over. If I wanted to abandon the project, I would have done...
I trust your intentions, I know the product has been around for a long time, I know it's actively being developed. I feared that if you only make $2k monthly, you might go bankrupt or abandon the product in a year or two from now on. This was my main concern.
No, that Reddit number was not real, so I would not use it as a benchmark for the business.
What matters is that we have kept WP Security Ninja going for years, and are still investing in it. We even shipped support this week for the upcoming AI integrations in WordPress 7.
So no, there is no plan to abandon the product. If that were the plan, it would have happened long ago. Thank you for askin
Thank you. Given the pace of replies and your history. I'll likely be getting the deal today. If I get you correctly, you mean that post was just a 'smart link placement' on Reddit ;) ?

A: Hello Chris - Thank you for buying. You cannot stack our licenses this way. You can upgrade your Tier 1 to a Tier 2 license.
To do that, please use the upgrade option inside AppSumo for your existing purchase rather than buying another Tier 1 code.
Lars Koudal from WP Security Ninja answered another user on July 8, 2025 and said: short answer — yes. They agree passkeys/WebAuthn are the future, it’s on their roadmap and under active research & development, and they’re focused on delivering a secure, intuitive implementation your clients will actually use; they expect a release in weeks (not months) and invite you to follow the feature request...

Q: Do you have VPN block to block people using VPN on the site ?
Lars_Koudal
Mar 10, 2026A: No, WP Security Ninja does not include VPN detection or VPN-based blocking.
It can block by country and IP-related rules, but users on a VPN can still bypass country-based restrictions.
