Q: How does this compare to CheatLayer?

We purchased CheatLayer a while back and although we see a lot of potential for it in the long run, the process of understanding it and getting started... it's a hurdle for us.

A: Hi David!

Thanks for the first question regarding the CheatLayer platform!

- Many users have reported that ZeroWork Creator App easier to use than CheatLayer. User interface and user experience are both easier on the eye and more streamlined. CheatLayer appears to be a very technical product. For many of the features, it appears that you actually need to do some basic coding. That's not the case when using ZeroWork.

- ZeroWork Creator App has features that are specifically targeted at social media use cases to enable safe automation that keep your social media account safe.

- Our loop and data table features are more flexible, yet still relatively easy to use, so that you can create more powerful workflows while still staying within the no-code realm.

- ZeroWork provides creators with new monetization strategies, which is to publish their own SaaS TaskBots on the marketplace and earn recurring revenues.

Best Regards,
Margaret

In addition, here are a few more questions:

1. "We don't provide desktop automation" What does this mean? It must be done in, say, Google Chrome or browser-based?

2. Could we, in theory, use your tool to scrape Google Maps data? For example, get (location), (name), (email) and (phone number) for businesses listed in Google Maps?

3. How fast is this tool? Obviously, this would depend on the type of tasks, but in general, can you give a rough idea? There are many social media automation tools which require you to have it run for 10 hours a day, which is not feasible if you are running it on your own laptop.

4. For tier 1, it said 75 task bots I believe. What does it mean to have that many run at the same time? Will it overclock your laptop's CPU? Please elaborate on this

Hi there,

Yes, it can be hard to get started with building automations. Good news is that here at ZeroWork we put a lot of effort into making easy-to-follow video tutorials, so that it's easier to learn. You can check a video crash course playlist here, for example: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7X7ThrPNPJAN8nfHlfguop5ylcZyJjsw.

Regarding your questions:
1. "We don't provide desktop automation" What does this mean? It must be done in, say, Google Chrome or browser-based?

Correct, the automation has to be done in the Chrome browser. For example, Facebook opens in Chrome browser, so you can automate it. But, let's say, Zoom desktop application only runs on desktop, so you can't automate that with ZeroWork.

2. Could we, in theory, use your tool to scrape Google Maps data? For example, get (location), (name), (email) and (phone number) for businesses listed in Google Maps?

Yes, you can definitely use ZeroWork TaskBots to collect data from Google Maps. Some of our users have automated Google Maps with TaskBots.

3. How fast is this tool? Obviously, this would depend on the type of tasks, but in general, can you give a rough idea? There are many social media automation tools which require you to have it run for 10 hours a day, which is not feasible if you are running it on your own laptop.

TaskBots can be very fast. As fast as a given website allows it to be.

At the same time, it is recommended to add longer delays when automating social media. So if you send 100 DMs per day automatically, you shouldn't do all that outreach within 10 minutes, even if that's technically possible. This will raise spam detectors and make your DMs land in spam. In such a case, I would recommend adding a randomized 1-to-5 minute delay between every sent DM.

4. For tier 1, it said 75 task bots I believe. What does it mean to have that many run at the same time? Will it overclock your laptop's CPU? Please elaborate on this

Tier 1 allows you to create up to 75 TaskBots and Tier 2 allows you to create an unlimited number of TaskBots. There is no limit as to how many TaskBots you can run in parallel, as long as your computer allows you. Running 3-4 TaskBots or up to 10 in parallel is usually not an issue, more than that would probably drain your computer resources.

Let me know if you have any other questions! 🙂
