Q: local computer vs cloud

Hi, 2 questions please:
1 I understand that the taskbots only work if my computer is turned on (i.e. I install a software on my local machine and when the machine is turned on, the taskbots can action, but they wont do any tasks if my computer is turned off). Is that correct?
2 I saw in another comment that you are working on moving the taskbot functionality to the cloud, i.e. the tasks would also work If my local computer is turned off.
a. When do you plan to introduce this feature?
b. You say in a different response, you would charge extra for that? How would that work, if i purchased a lifetime plan? Would I need to pay a monthly fee on top of my lifetime plan? How much?
c. Is the answer different to if I purchase tier 1 or tier 2? (i'd prefer to purchase tier 2 if the cloud function was included at no extra cost in that)
Thank you!

A: 1. Correct.

2. We are not *moving* the TaskBot functionality to the cloud. Cloud runs will be an *additional* option. I know many ZeroWork users who will still prefer to use the desktop agent instead - either due to the fact that it's free forever (and cloud cannot be) or because they set up their own VPS to run the TaskBots on.

2a. We have already implemented it but the testing phase is still pending. I don't want to share an exact ETA, but I can say that the feature is going to be made available soon.

2b. Typically, automation tools charge cloud credits. Put simply, you are charged per minute of run time. For example, if your TaskBot ran for 30 minutes, you will be charged for 30 minutes. A big part of the testing phase is to figure out the exact costs of providing the cloud feature and this is the reason why I cannot share the price yet.

2c. No difference for tier 1 and tier 2 in terms of cloud availability.

Hope this helps! 🙂
