Why when I use Zooc with Slak only for send a record message, the slack is closed permanently and do not work slack. Curiously this error appear after install Zooc in slack and sent my first record message.
Q: Hi Zooc team,
really excited about your product because content is at the core of my business (I’m a German ...
tech and video gaming content creator, speaker and author - also living in Berlin by the way). I just bought two codes and may buy one or two more. Can’t wait for the German translation. I have a few questions: 1. do you have versioning? Let’s say I give a graphic designer some feedback on an ebook cover. Can he upload a new version in the same canvas? 2. Can I somehow link / reference between two canvases in different workspaces (let’s say a video in my YouTube workspace and it’s thumbnail graphic in my graphics workspace)? 3. Are custom fields on the roadmap? Like for recording the planned publish date for a video or the client email for a sponsorship proposal PDF canvas.
Also some feature ideas; - Someday having the option to publish a piece of content to platforms like YouTube, Instagram or WordPress - Guests who can comment without login - Mobile app - Official approval / signing for PDF canvases used for contracts or proposals
Thank you so much for this deal which I almost missed. Keep it up.
I hope you are doing well and please stay healthy from the virus. Hope to see you around once covid situation is settled.
Here are my answers: 1. Not as of now, but we have it in the backlog with medium priority. We don't have a tentitive deadline on when we will build and release this feature.
2. Yes, you can just copy and paste the link you see from the browser. Send it as a first message on the other canvas, this should work fine as a work around. But a link feature like it is done in Jira linking stories that is not possible now. Custom fields might be a good solution for such use cases.
3. Yes, but in low priority on our backlog.
Thanks a heap for the ideas you submitted, we have noted it down.
Thanks for your answers. Happy to give you some ideas. I have some more questions and suggestions concerning your public roadmap.- I hope you don’t mind. 1. Can you go in a bit more detail about the “improved text editor” and “project management module”? What improvements and features (roughly) could we look forward to? By the way, as a writer, YouTuber and podcaster I’m really happy with the text, video and audio canvas types. 2. It says you plan a Calendly integration. Would you consider Harmonizely (Calendly competitor that was on AppSumo as well)?
So happy to see a local company on AppSumo. I live in the 10245 postal code area, not that far from your office
I hope you are doing well, please stay safe as the number of cases are increasing on daily basis.
We are planning to put a more detailed roadmap so that all the users can see how we are planning to grow. There you can also see about the plans of adding Calendly or its alternatives.
Sincerely, Aemal Sayer
PS: Glad to know you are also in Berlin, hopefully once covid19 situation is over we can grab a coffee.
Q: Hi,
1.
Could you explain difference between Feedbackhero.io and zooc? 2. I can restrict access to user to specific canvas or projects? 3. How long I can video recorded? 4. Could you share your roadmap? 5. Could you consider integration with Plutio, Smarttask that was offer in appsumo? 6. I can capture and save screen and video webcam as Loom. 7. I can share the audio / video link with externals users?
Here are my answers: 1. Our old name was FeedbackHero and since our focus changed from a feedback tool to a collaboration tool therefore we changed the name.
2. No. But upon enough request from our user base we will consider making user roles to different granular levels.
3. Each video clip has a 10mins time limit for now. It is just for keeping the conversations short but in different iterations. Upon different use cases, we may provide a feature of controling this number from a settings area by an admin.
4. You can check our roadmap on zooc.io/roadmap
5. Not at the moment.
6. Yes, you can capture your webcam and/or screen like Loom.
7. Yes, when you make your canvas public you can share it with external users and they can just see it. They have to register in order to be able to leave comments on your canvases. Our Guest user feature will be released in near future which will allow the public users to add comments on a canvas without a need to register.
Can this tool be used for client approvals of documents and files? 2. What files can be uploaded to be used for working on? PDFs, video files, audio, excels, images? 3. Are users locked into specific "teams" or "projects"? Let say I would like to have all sub-projects for a particular client in one place so no other clients or team members can access that. 4. What is the confidentiality policy / security of documents stored there, as I guess this is a cloud service? 5. What is the GDPR policy? 6. Many are asking about adding clients without accounts, and some other solution is in the working, how would that be in terms of numbers of users for that related to the stacking of this deal? Would one code be enough? I am curious to know how I would need to stack. 7. What happens if I reach the limit of users in this deal in the future?
2. You can upload PDF, video, audio and images. We don't support excel files as of now.
3. We have Projects and underneath that multiple workspaces. If your project is large and you have multiple teams working together, we would recommend creating a Project for it and then one workspace for each team. Otherwise if your project is small and you can manage it with one workspace then you can create a general Zooc Project which would hold all the workspaces of your projects and then you can assign the users in their respective workspaces.
4. Yes, it is a cloud service and all the documents are stored on AWS and GCP with HTTPS enabled for all the traffic. You are the only person who can have access to your documents unless you made it public.
5. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy in the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) and as a German company we intent to follow it strictly
6. It depends on your needs. One code will give you 12 users and it increases as you stack more codes. Thus there are storage and number of canvases limits on one code and that is dramatically increased when you stack codes.
7. You can delete users to free up space for adding new users.
