Honest first impression: I haven't run heavy campaigns yet, but I've explored the platform and it has everything I need in one place, newsletter editor, automations and transactional SMTP.
The automations look simple and intuitive, and they'll hopefully replace what I'm currently doing with external tools like ActivePieces. The embedded subscription forms work well out of the box, and having SMTP, campaigns, landings and surveys under one dashboard is a win. Also a plus: Spanish company, EU servers and support in Spanish.
The not-so-good:
The official WordPress plugin feels very basic and isn't up to date, it's only tested up to WP 6.8.5 and I couldn't get it to work on my WordPress 6.9.4 install. Luckily the embedded forms cover my needs for now, but a properly maintained WP plugin would be a big plus. Also, compared to other AppSumo deals, the monthly email cap isn't as generous as some alternatives, especially for transactional email, but I guess you can always pair it with another tool (like I did).
Overall a solid tool that I'll keep exploring. Will update the review once I have real campaign data.
4 tacos for now, mostly because of the outdated WordPress plugin and because I haven't tested everything in depth yet. Honestly it deserves a solid 4.5 from me, but since half points aren't an option I'm going with 4. Once they update the WP plugin and I dig deeper into the app, I'll happily bump it to 5.

Just a good affordable email program

Nos parece un servicio muy práctico y sencillo. En 10 minutos puedes estar enviando tu primera campaña sin complicaciones.
Tenemos una lista muy grande y por ahora va todo perfecto, rápido y con entregas del 100 %.
Nos encanta que ofrezcan automatizaciones, en otras herramientas suele ser un servicio de pago adicional.
El editor funciona muy bien y te permite maquetar de forma bastante rápida y cómoda.
Tiene algunas cosas a mejorar en cuanto a usabilidad (la barra de formato se superpone en los bloques y no puedes visualizar bien el contenido)
Pero por lo demás, una herramienta de 10, ¡enhorabuena!

I had been searching for an email marketing platform that was easy to use without becoming insanely expensive as my list grows. After trying a few popular tools, I ended up getting Acumbamail through AppSumo.

What I liked immediately was how straightforward everything feels. I didn’t need to spend hours watching tutorials just to create campaigns or basic automations. Setting up forms, lists, and sending my first campaign was surprisingly fast.

Another thing that stood out is that it includes features that are usually locked behind expensive plans on other platforms. The automation tools work well, the editor is simple to use, and deliverability has been solid so far. For newsletters and regular campaigns, it has been reliable.

I also appreciate that the platform feels practical instead of bloated. Some email tools try to do too much and become frustrating to navigate. Acumbamail keeps things organized and efficient, which honestly saves time.

Support has also been better than expected. I had a question related to domain authentication and received a helpful response pretty quickly.

I wouldn’t say it’s designed for giant enterprise-level operations, but for agencies, freelancers, small businesses, and growing online projects, the value is excellent—especially considering the AppSumo lifetime deal.

Overall, this is one of those purchases that actually ends up being useful daily instead of sitting unused in your toolkit.

Overview
This mailing solution is fast, easy to use, and fully functional. This seems like a heck of a deal from Acumbamail. I'm still evaluating, but I sent my first mailing yesterday, and it seems to have worked well. I'm very excited and optimistic about what this product will do in the long term.

Likes
- The value for this is off the charts.
- The editor is fully featured and fast.
- This does what it promises, plus some extra.

Dislikes
- The domain setup can be tricky due to documentation problems.
- Ex: Setup of TXT records mentions the value but not the host name. I worked around it because I've done this many times but a new user likely wouldn't get past it. (This may be attributed to localization)
- The editor needs some usability improvements.
- Ex: Figuring out how to change the background of content blocks takes a few minutes of clicking.
- Localization can be funky
- Ex: Each time I hit the login page, it defaults to Spanish for me rather than English. Once I login, I'm back to English
