AIWriteBook helped me write my first book, and the experience was much better than I expected. It made the process feel far less overwhelming by helping me organize ideas, build out chapters, and keep momentum instead of staring at a blank page.

What I liked most was how easy it was to turn a basic concept into structured content. The tool gave me a solid starting point that I could customize with my own voice, examples, and edits. It saved a lot of time compared with trying to build everything from scratch.

For anyone who wants to create an ebook, short nonfiction book, guide, or other written digital product, I think AIWriteBook is a great option—especially if you are new to book writing or want to produce content faster.

It worked great for my first book, and I’m looking forward to using it again for future projects.

I’ve spent the past few days working with AI Write Books and have already started two books. Naturally, there’s a learning curve as you get more familiar with the platform. Some things are a bit unclear at first, but by the second or third book, those points become much clearer.

This was also the first time I upgraded from Tier 2 to Tier 3. That went smoothly as well, since I definitely wanted to try out the translation feature.

So far, I can recommend it, even though there are still a few areas that could definitely be expanded in the coming months.

Once I’ve finished my two books, I’ll send a short feedback list to support so they don’t run out of ideas.

This thing is one of the better things I've seen on Appsumo in years. It works right off the bat. But strangely, it doesn't have a layout tool - meaning you cannot edit page by page. It seems like it would be one of the most natural things to have. Still a bit confused how to put in the big edits (it recommends some massive changes but doesn't really do them for you, like merging chapters and rearranging narration).

I have tested several LLMs and platforms to (or try to) write books using AI. I must say that this is one of the most complete I have ever tried. I prepared the draft (with chapter titles and notes), imported it and voilà! Each chapter is written in sequence and each time you have full control to check/re-write it or modify parts of it.
I only used the platform for two very different projects. The first one was a technical book (about molecular simulations) and the second about a fantasy story. In the first case, I gave the general idea and all the chapter titles/notes were generated very well. Then I created the first chapter only using GEMINI, to check the writing, use of mathematical formulas (coded in LaTeX), etc. I got very impressed with the general quality! The second project wasn't a test. I created the preface, prologue, chapter notes, etc. using Claude Opus 5, and uploaded it as a DOCX document to AIWriterBook. The result was fantastic! The amount of options you can control about the style, genre, etc. is amazing, helping to focus the writing on the book idea you have.
The only two features I haven't liked so far were the image cover production (the three variants were too similar in between) and the AudioBook system (was updated today), which has only voices in English. But I'm pretty sure that other languages are in the roadmap.

I have tested quite a few AI book tools over the past months, and this one is clearly the best of them.

What I like most is that it is not just a text generator. You get a complete workflow - from the initial idea, characters and outline all the way to chapters, metadata and the cover. At the end you export files that are ready for Amazon KDP and KDP Print, in the correct formats and with the right dimensions. That takes a lot of fiddling out of the process.

The other thing I really appreciate: you decide how much AI you actually want to use. You can let the tool write the whole book, or you import your own draft and only use AI where you need it. That freedom is rare in this category.

The new OpenRouter integration is a great addition as well - being able to bring your own models makes a real difference.

What could be better: I publish in German, and the research tools (competitor analysis, niche finder and so on) sometimes mix German and English in their output. Nothing is broken, but it shows that the tool is not fully optimised for the German market yet. I would love to see that get some attention.

Still an easy 5 out of 5 from me.
