Alter can read my screen, documents etc. Which means it will have access to a lot of information. How is this info stored, and treated?
Is it passed directly to AI models that are known to "own the data" like Claude/ Open Ai etc, or can I use a local AI that will not pass the data outside my computer?

Also Alter records your screen only when you ask it (putting an app as context for example)
I still don't understand the "requests" part. I do understand that in AppSumo we only buy one-time "credits" for "requests", and they don't renew each month.
But you also say BYOK (Bring your own key), and I assume that is for using Open AI and other AI apis?
But what about requests? Is this tool worthless without buying more "requests" from you?
Or does it work fully, with all APIs, integrations etc without buying additional "request" later?

does Alter allow to create PDFs with forms in Acrobat Pro using the layout of the example PDF files and the new content from a .doc, .txt or .rtf file?

A: Alter has no specific tooling for Acrobat Pro but you have a PDF skill to work with PDF and create new ones.
You can find it in Tools Manager > Skills > Installed then search or look for "pdf".
The best way to use it is to add it to a workspace.
Q: Alter no more useful nor they have tutorials videos?
I have Ramio and Alter, but the YouTube videos on Alter are not useful. They don’t upload tutorials correctly, nor do they show how to set things up. The videos are useless, and there aren’t any long videos that teach step-by-step setups for each topic. I am considering a refund soon because I’ve been waiting for their videos to learn and use the product, but it seems like they are not doing well. I might request a refund within two days.
